Ok, so after looking around the forum and the site and not finding a response, here's my query to all ye savvy people:

I recently bought Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 off of Amazon because they were pretty much offering (plus Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition) for the price of one brand new game. Needless to say, I spasmed and grabbed for it before I read the full description. Evidently, I bought Mass Effect EA Value Games and Mass Effect 2 EA classics. No idea what those mean but after some searching it seems that those are the European versions of the game?

Anyway, I was trying to register Mass Effect on here except to my dismay I found that Mass Effect wasn't even listed. Is there ANY way at all to register Mass Effect or has that option been obliterated since Mass Effect 2 will now come with an interactive graphic novel version of Mass Effect considering its new release for PS3.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

This has been asked a lot in the ME1 tech support forum, and has been answered. You cannot register ME1 on these forums. You used to be able to register it on the old forums, before they were hacked, and Bioware/EA closed down the old forums.
Now, if you want to register ME1 to obtain a copy of the Bring Down the Sky DLC, you have to speak to EA support.

I actually had exactly the same question and I emailed EA (Electronic Arts) yesterday. I cannot post on certain forums and I do believe this is due to my game not being registered and I cannot register it anywhere.

ME1 can't be registered on this forum.....ME2 can be registered and if you do so it will allow you to post on all ME2 forums......but ME1 is a NO GO.
You can post in the ME1 fourms, but probably not the strat forum, since that is predominately ME2.

I do so hate having to repeat myself because people would rather post a blind whinge than read what has already been said.
