Hello. I recently purchased the Neverwinter Nights 2 game from steam, and came across a mod I wanted to try it with. It was the Races of Faerun pack that I found on the IGN Vault site (http://nwvault.ign.c...l.Detail&id=392). The problem is that one of the races, driders specifically, doesn't show up. When it comes to mods and new content, I'm a complete and utter newb at it, and I have no idea how to go about correcting this issue. Can someone help me please? The races of Faerun is the only mod that I've tried to install, and I have the 1.23 patch for NWN2. Thanks!
Probem with the Races of Faerun pack

Races of faerun is conflicting with other content from what i remember, i went and moved it, and coordinated where i moved the ranges with ladydesire who also includes.
I would suggest installing the class pack package done by ladydesire that has a lot of content. Some of it is in varied quality, but races of faerun is not the highest quality content itself. ( things like kaedrin's is part of her content and it actually has a lot less bugs if you get the correct version from kaedrin )

Thanks for the reply. I took a look at ladydesire's mod, and it does look interesting. However, I mostly posted this question because I wanted to play a drider. If the Races of Faerun mod doesn't work, can anyone suggest a different one that lets me play as driders?

Not that i know of, which don't involve editing content of one sort or another. Generally merging the same thing is an issue, so releasing a single race means that is all you are going to get. My monster pack which is targeting modules ( both sp and mp ) would support the model part in a way that works with a lot of other peoples content, but that just gets you the model ( which is done by johnny ree and is available by itself ) and a appearance.2da. The racial subtypes, races, and of course adding it to the scripts so various spells work correctly. ( technically you probably would be immune to charm and quite a few other things since you are not a humanoid race really and those spells check for certain races. )
I think i actually got it prepped for my PW, but i disabled it with the intention of unlocking it for particularly evil drow who hit epic levels as a option for them at a later date. ( which would make it more in line with what they actually are, and balance the options they give ). I did enable minotaurs but i really adjusted stats, and added the limitation they cannot wear armor to try to make them high damage and low ac, with very little chance to survive a will save. Most of all that is very customized for what i am doing.
None of that is really prepped for a new player who does not know how to do custom content to just use. Nor do i know of anyone who has gone and done something like this except ladydesire. Taking her appearance, racialsubtypes and races 2da's, and her tlk file, and finding the models involved, then either ignoring or editing out the other added races is probably the easiest way to get what you want. It's just easier to take stuff away then to add it, but it still will end up with wonky results with respect to a few spells which change how they work based on race. ( can't really remember which ones, and you probably can just ignore that anyway )

Just found out I was mistaken. For some reason I thought that Ladydesire's pack didn't come with the dridder race, but I found out it does include Races of Faerun. Anyway, I've downloaded it and I'm trying to figure out how to install it.
Edit: and I got it working. Thanks for the help!

Yeah she has all of it, we actually collaborated when we integrated that into our respective projects, all my content matches up with what she has and vice versa in regards to Races of Faerun. ( kind of had to do that since the original had conflicts and could not be used as is )
