In Mass Effect 2, we are treated to the headscratch/facepalm-inducing lack of space suits for all but two of your characters (No, Grunt doesn't have a full suit, his upper arms are still exposed). I've seen rationalizations citing Joker's emergency hull breach breather mask is a kinetic barrier (if so, why do they still need masks, why does Shep still wear a suit, where's the KB glow?) to statements that there's not a single "full vacuum" (incorrect, the Geth Heretic base).
Will we have a return to fridge logic-less space suits? Or will we still have Jack/Samara/Miranda/new-to-this Ashley strutting their stuff in a hostile environment?
Will there be proper space suits this time?

Bioware won't compromise their artistic vision. Change is good. Out with the old, in with the new. A trilogy doesn't have to have a consistent art style or setting.

Casey Hudson has tweeted once or twice about how they're going to give every squadmate armor and proper helmets in ME3, so beyond speculation we're just going to have to wait for more coverage to see what that means.

I believe with the new armor system we can give proper equipment to characters.
