Only have two things to say about your post.

One very jealous that you are getting to play DAO origins right now. Still have to wait till Tuesday to be able to play it myself.

Two the 360 version looks very good and that gives me very high hopes that my PS3 version will look just as good.   Enjoy the DAO goodness.

The game looks fantastic on the xbox360 in 1080p so no doubt the ps3 will look great too. I am certain though that PC will look best.



Also, the combat controls on the xbox 360 takes some getting used to. Trying to figure out the pausing and using the left trigger for the radial menu and determing behaviors for party members on the fly... all on a controller no less. Exploring and running around and interacting with the controller feels very natural however.

Heh, still wondering.

AFAIK, Xbox Live is only needed for downloading unlocked items and DLCs and there is no reason to actually play the game on Xbox live. Is this correct?

Well I'm in the UK and according to game my card has been authorised and the game has gone for packing, so I assume it's already here.

Hey man, you said you were playing as a rogue? Could you try to see if you can do backstabs with a bow?

Oh and another thing, can you check the guide and see how often you get skill points? There has been some confusion about that.

Yeah, i was also curious about the possibility of backstabbing with a bow, I have seen it previously in another game but you had to be melee range. But as it's a 'stab' I'd have to say its very likely melee only. You do extra damage when attacking from the back anyway, backstab is extra on top of that damage.

Though kick ass stuff gettin it early, i just TODAY found out the PS3 version is releasing along with all the others so im pretty stoked. I'll play Borderlands until i get the call from gamestop, then its bye bye outside world haha..

One thing I do notice so far is how amazing the lip syncing is when anyone talks.



I must have played so many games where the lip syncing is either off, not well done or just not there and it really takes away the "imersion" of the game.



So far, the lip syncing in this game is perfect. It is really amazing to see and a nice change.

Awesome!!! No hesitation that you should wait to play. If you can buy it in a store, you should be able to play it. Not your fault they released early! It isn't the end all that people think it is!

Can you purchase The Warden's Keep yet? If so, how many points?



Any other purchasable items aside from stuff we have codes for? I'm trying to figure out how many points I need to stock up on.
