This thread is a place to comment about your favorite characters. If they are already confirmed you can talk about why you wanted them to return, if not why do u wish for them to return.

I like Ashley, Tali and Garrus and think it makes a lot of sense for them to return. I'd like to see more dialogue between them (The elevator conversation between Ash and Tali in ME1 always made me go 'F*** Yeah, battle sisters) They're some of Shepard's oldest friends, he/she knows that they're dependable and the kind of trials they went through together against Saren give them a common bond, a lot stronger than even the team in ME2.

I want Legion to return as full squad member. I realy liked his concept and I took him every where in ME2. I think he was funny and very usefull in combat. I would very mutch like to have him back.

Between 6-10 squadmates, so assume 8:
1) VS- for me its Ashley, ALWAYS
2) James Vega- formerly known as James something
3) Liara- best character, not even a close second
4) Garrus- you always need a badass sniper
5) Tali- the only damsel in distress to return

Characters dead or Temporary
1) VD- Kaiden SOOOO boring to listen to
2) Wrex- the second best character
3) Anderson- it would have been cool to have him permanate squaddie, the first elected human specter
4) Mordin- guy was a nutjob
5) Thane- should be dead, hah good riddance
6) Legion- cool idea on paper, but trusting a Geth, to uneasy

Squadmates left
1) Miranda
2) Jacob
3) Samara
4) Kasumi
5) Grunt
6) Zaeed
7) Jack

I can guarantee that Grunt will be a squadmate, because the team needs a krogan, and if they don't have one there will be possible riots. And there not going to make any new squadmates besides Vega, so any new krogans is out of the queston.

So out of the remaining squadmates, the only two slots to be filled would be Zaeed/Kasumi for the first, and maybe Miranda/Jacob for the second slot.

I would personally like to see Samara and Liara as permanate squadmates, that would be awesome, but nobody else likes Samara. :/

I liked Samara. Hope she is in ME3. Would love to see her fleshed out abit more.

Kaidan Alenko, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, Liara T'Soni, Garrus Vakarian, James Vega, Ashley Williams has been confirmed as squad mates.
Others are confirmed to return but thier roles in ME3 are unknown.

I liked everyone in ME1 but Kaidan. He's dead now though, so it's cool.

 I'm hoping we get maybe one or two new characters/squadmates, but I really just want everyone I cared for in the previous games. 
Wrex, Garrus, Kaidan, Legion, and Thane are among the top ones I'd want. I'm not looking forward to a boatload of annoyance and loyalty missions, though.
"Shepard, my cat is stuck in a tree -- get her down please! Oh, and you have to fight 16,000 indoctrinated soldiers to get to the tree. And then a platform will collapse under you and you have to take a detour, call in an airstrike, and leap through fire to get there. Good luck! I would like to have Jack, Samara, Kasumi, Wrex, Thane, Legion, Garrus and Liara

those would be all i would need but would be happy with more not so happy with less
