Well seeing as I was still with Tali in ME2 while re-hooking up with Liara in LotSB, then broke it off with Tali & then had Kelly dance for me, it seems she'll never know...

But probably just sing that Shaggy song to her. Or have Mordin do it to make it extra convincing.

i wasn't in a relationship in ME1 ,for I'm gay and there was no choice, so kaiden ****ed at me for no reason, and i would never do kaiden his hair annoyed me, and he talked too damn much, In ME2 i wasn't in a relationship so i just sat there not "being married to my right-hand" or stealing mordin's sex tapes because i know EDI is always watching.... i want garrus,dammit!

too be honest I would not expect it and they would definitely get the award for surprise of the year.

I doubt though considering there is only one shepard and I will say is once you go once with shepard you cant go back.

seriously though the idea is good but in real life it is not because the issue is with the fans of characters because what people tend to do is come up with there own preconceptions of characters

for instance I think Miranda will never betray shepard in that way because they have too much in common and they seem to like enjoy too much to damage that relationship.

Which if you make it that your LI cheats on you then you are removing the fans preconceptions which will make the fan feel disconnected with the character or even worse prefer someone else as a character because of it.

The only way you could get away with it is possibly the renegade romances more than the paragons because the renegade ones do seem to be more about you know what than the emotions, which makes it more possible that an affair can happen.

^ ITA, but Renegades have emotions, too - even if it is all about you know what - which it isn't necessarily. Even with that situation, the philosophies differ. "Emotional romances" can be all about the "Shep-Shep," too, you know?

:?On second thought, I don't think I want to have that conversation. The only time one of my Sheps cheated on a LI was Jack>Ashley. I don't see how this can end peacefully. It's more likely that about a dozen krogan riot cops are going to be involved.

In ME1 the female that I was most interested in romantically was the only one that i could not purse, Tali Zorah vas Normandy

Ash and I may have never happened if things were different, but i don't regret my decision to get involved with her, far from it in fact.But given the darker tone of ME2 , and how shocked and taken aback I was at how Ash spoke to me on Horizon: add on the sense that I had that going through The Omega 4 -Relay might be Commander Sheppard's version of " The Final Flight of The Osirus" It struck me that if I'm about to die, knowing how I feel about Tali : Knowing what she means to me: The thought of dying without even knowing what she looked liked under her mask, became unbearable to me. This wasn't a simple case of "Jungle Fever" It was about 'intamacy' ...

One of the greatest themes of Mass Effect 2 is " Second Chances" Commander Sheppard get's a 2nd chance at life.He or she gives Cerebus a a second chance to prove themselves.And not to sound sappy or anything but, to speak from a perspective of 'Full Immersion' in the game expierence: I felt like my unfinshed buisness in Mass Effect 2 was not defeating the Reapers, it was falling in love with Tali... I was brought back to love her:innocent:

So what will I say to Operations Chief: Ashley Williams?! Who will I choose in Mass Effect 3 ? I don't know, I honestly don't know... i didn't expect to survive "The Suicide Mission"  but saying that to Ash, might just sound kind of whiney even if it is the truth...

Oh, and there is something else: I'm not the only one who has some explaining to do, In my my fanfic: Commander Sheppard's Log: 2185, I mentioned something to the effect of "How is it that Ash stayed loyal to the Alliance after they scandalized my name.And people that I never knew like Engineer Donnely and Daniels, had my back and left the Alliance in protest... even Joker and Dr. Chackwas left, but the woman I love remained... " I'm still waiting for her to elaborate on that one.Stating that "The Alliance is in my blood"  Isn't good enough...

^Kenneth was always a loose cannon. It's not really surprising to me that a guy like him would quit. But Ash suffered a heavy emotional blow after your death. She needed something to focus on, to keep herself steady, she stuck with what she knew, the uniform and the service.
