How to keep Renegade Eyes/Scars at a "Certain Degree"?

Alright, have to say, giving Renegade glowing scarlet eyes and burning scars is cool, so long as it doesn't go too far.

And without modding, it perhaps does.

I like Renegade Shepard's red eyes when he/she hits the 2/5 Renegade score bar. Those faint glows do give a good sense of intimidating. Thus, they are real badass.

However, when Shepard reaches over 3/5 Renegade score bar, the scars start to look really annoying, and the eyes are just...well, just wrong. And when he/she hits 4/5........well, I don't know how to criticize when all I get is a pair of orange LED and a broken face.

But no, I don't want to heal Shepard's face, either. That takes his/her Renegade feature away.

So I'd like to know if there is a way to keep them at 2/5------when the reddish eyes are just starting to glow and scars aren't becoming too ridiculous yet.

Is there a way to mod this? Or any method possible? Please help:unsure:

Check out this posting. Wont be able to stop the scars from speading, but you can tinker with eye colour. At least then you can use the cosmetic surgery option to remove the scars, but keep your red eyes.

alright~~thx by the way~

BUT, the eyes look unrealistic, not like the one you get at 2/5 of Renegade bar.

I figured that the scar/eyes are actually based on the Renegade/Paragon ratio.

Is there a way to "fix" Shepard's Renegade/Paragon ratio through modding?

Best bet would be to check through, or ask in, the Modding is Possible III thread

Or, you could use the Renagade/Paragon points editor in Gibbed to maintain the look. I use it to highlight renegade choices that I otherwise would not have access to because I mostly play paragon.

You can use TexMod to replace all renegade scar textures with you preferred one. So, on all renegade levels only 'lvl 2' scarring would show.

OK, both Renagade/Paragon points editor and TexMod seem promising.

Problem solved.

Thanks again, Thiev and knightnblu:P

If you don't want to mess your points, there is another way:

It requires editing Coalesced.ini file. If you haven't done it before, you'll need INI Fixer
Now, go to .\\BioGame\\Config\\PC\\Cooked, open coalesced.ini with Notepad++ or something similar and look for Scars=
There should be five lines like that, corresponding to different levels of scarring. Just replace levels 4&5 with the line from level 3.
After saving the file run INIfixer or it won't work.
