[I could perhaps learn how to do this myself, and maybe I will if I have to. But I figure there are people around who actually want to make mods and we have this lovely forum for talking to each other...]

I like Shale. I like its dialogue, personality, combat utility, and I like its talent set being a change from Alistair's. Alas, I've never had it in the party for more than half an hour because the clomp clomp clomp of its footsteps gets on my nerves. So I was wondering if there are any modders out there who'd somehow give it the usual character footstep sounds?

Damn you original poster. Since I saw this thread I started to pay attention to the sound and now it annoys me too. But fortunately I found a solution for it.
