I have basicaly found a combination of neutral paragon and renegade responses, that sounds less horrible, but its still pretty derpy.  and yes, VS should have listened a little longer.  Writers didn't want them to for whatever reason (probably why they made Shepard sound like that much of an idiot).  they also merged their personalities, made NO aknowledgement for conversation paths you had with tehm, barely aknowledged romantic relationships.  at least they gave Kaidan his own armor for that scene unlike the destruction of Normandy intro.  never mind that its exactly the same as that of half the random mooks on Illium spaceport, at least its not phoenix armor anymore.

I don't think Horizon should be brushed off.  what's done is done.  but at least i hope that they will give players a wide variety of options of how they can handle it and don't make the apologizing a default and only options.  because several of my Shepards feel like THEY are the ones that should be apologizing.

I think Horizon has to be revisited, and Shep and the VS really need to deal with what happened for the sake of advancing the story and their relationship (whatever it may be).

But I don't believe that either really owes the other an apology.  Certainly not a groveling session.

Now the writers of that scene are a different matter...

The first neutral response wasn't bad, actually.

"Not my choice.  I spent most of the last 2 years in a coma while Cerberus rebuilt me."

That response was OK, but after that, Shepard's responses were limited.  I'd prefer to have said something like "I don't like them either, but no one else is doing anything about the Collectors."

But Garrus's  right, even if you can't blame her for that. At the time on horizon, she doesn't want to see that the collectors  are worse than Cerberus and actually the true threat against Humanity in Terminus system, at the expense of rational reasons.

She is upset, and she is governed by anger. Angry to know that Shepard was alive but didn't contact her, etc.

I certainly hope they bring it up, especially if they are your romance from ME1 because then they should have listened to you for more than 5 seconds before throwing you to the wolves and condemning your very existence. I am not so pissed that they don't trust cerberus and don't understand why I was with them. What pissed me off was that they didn't even give me the chance to explain to them what is really going on, I wasn't given the benefit of a doubt.

Well, it appears that Ash/Kaidan WAS right in the end, and that Cerberus IS affiliated with the reapers. Shepard destroyed a minor reaper stronghold in ME2, and pretty much gave (regardless of the end-game decision and possible intentions) new, dangerous resources to a terrorist organization who happened to decide that hanging with the reapers is all the rage these days.

shepard did have a chance to explain himself...he just gave crappy explanations that werent convinceing at all.

The only chance to save it for me is to allow them to talk about it in ME3, what happened and how they feel about it. Not necesserily an apology, but a conversation about it.

it isnt a "conspiracy" if there really are shadow groups who are capable of anything who do whatever it takes to accomplish their own ends,its reality in her world.not to mention you were "Dead" up until a few days ago can we cut the girl some slack,loved ones and friends rising from the dead isnt something you experinace everyday.

the reason she steps back from you is that she thinks cerberus has done something to you.after all you were under their knife for awhile how dose she know that cerberus didnt put that control chip in your brain that mirianda herself was so eager to put in there.

agree with you however on the fact that horizon was excuted poorly.
