You know what? I think that's the whole problem in a nutshell. While attempting to sate everyones idea of what color,sexual orientation, what should be censored and so on. It becomes more difficult just to present a game in the glory that it was envisioned. ME gives so much that even the mainstream press wants in on it to boost ratings. From an investment POV, they do have to play it safe. So that, I can understand. But one of these days, I hope they reissue a limited "Platinum" edition of the ME games with no content cut or altered. Just to put back in what so many wanted them to take out. They would make a hefty profit. I think the rating system needs to be revised by gamers, not watchdog groups. If my Shep could look in the distance and say "F" it, that would be epic.

I disagree (and I'm half Indian). Default femshep - the red haired one - is pretty good. The face just needs a little tweaking with the cheekbones, which just look a little severe, but other than that the model is suitable.

Default Femshep already exists.

She has a bit of an overbite, and her cheekbones versus her jaw are in a slightly unusual proportion if you pay too much attention... but she still looks great, and that's the Femshep people recognize and love.

I agree the shepard on the boxart should be an hermaphrodite (so both genders could feel happy), black shepard but with vitiligo (he's black but looks white), and should have italian roots. That would be the perfect commander shepard IMO.

I'm not trying to be rude, but i honestly don't care about race. It's probably because they are playing to the classic hero figure (which are admittedly white).
