Shepard + a couple asari should be enough to keep a viable ammount of people going, considering asari live long enough to pass on knowledge to their offspring, and their genepool doesn't really suffer from 'inbreeding'. They could easily outlast the couple hundred years of reaping, only problem is that they would have to move to a planet and stay underground and use as little energy as possible.
And if using the relay logs is a problem, take a prison ship, send it to deepspace packed with supplies, keep a low profile for a couple hundred of years and return with a rase of asari full of shepard genes. (hell worst case you can bring the rest of your squad to make the anit pure blood asari happy for a while).
