Would anyone else like another Non-Shepard mission?

The only thing I see being an issue would be which character gets the mission, and how that's decided. If it ends up following the format of a general mission with the squad leader and the two squad mates, how would each role be assigned?
Perhaps make it something like the loyalty missions from ME2. Only, whoever's mission it is, make them the leader. The conversation wheel would have to be taken out during cutscenes, but hey, could be fun.

Never played ME1 so I don't really know, but we all know that fun little scene from ME2 when you're the little gimp that could. I know it wasn't very pivotal (I guess you can argue that story wise), but I enjoyed it a little bit. Mainly because it was interesting to see the different ways Joker could die... but anyways.
Would anyone else see something like this again? Maybe there could be a point in time when TIM or another villain actually manages to capture Shepard and someone on his crew has to step up to point and save him.
ME2 Arrival Spoilers ahead - read at your own risk
That's what they should have done in Arrival instead of that ridiculous escape sequence. Really? Shepard is growing resistant to the sedatives and you don't use restraints, two armed guards can't hit a practically stationary target at point blank range and mech remote control right there for easy use?
I know the squadmates are seriously gimped compared to Shepard, but it should just temporarily default to normal mode when in direct control of a squadmate if the player is playing on higher difficulties.

An ensemble cast is my preferred future for RPGs. (Some of the original Gold Box games had a group of 5 - 6 you designed.)
So - yeah.

Liara trying to recover Shep's body perhaps?
Or the Virmire Survivor on their first official Spectre mission sometime prior to ME3

I think a character based DLC where you play as one of your squad mates could be cool. Sort of like Leliana's Song from Dragon Age Origins.

Tis cool. I'd like the see a Saren mission where he fully understands what the ME universe is up against. Especially if it could tied directly into events that unfold in ME3 (other than the already obvious).
I'd also like to see ME3 prequel where Conrad Vernor stumbles into discovering just what the hell TIM is up to in ME3.

or even something like that one Dragon Age quest where you pick 2 party members to break you out or whatever. somebody would have to step up with you unavailable for a bit and I think again Garrus could do the job.

The Joker moment was truly spectacular on your first run because it was unexpected. Joker's dialogue in that segment nearly matched my own as I played it. But on subsequent playthroughs it loses the shock factor. But a 'chosen Companion' moment would have lots of replay value.

Actually, I wouldn't mind some ME DLCs that let you play as other characters from the ME games: Conrad Vernor, Captain/Councilman Anderson, Saren, Blasto, Biotic God, Urz...
Biotic God? ROFL He was hilarious! Though I sent him into the room usually.

It can be much the same way here.
I approve of the idea.

Snapped me right out of the game. Broke the old "immersion" wajamacallit.

Maybe if we play as a kick-*ss character, but I would prefer to play ME3 as Shepard the entire time.

I had actually expected Grunt's Rite to be a solo mission. I thought it was a bit surprising he was allowed to take backup.

I really hate that part now. It doesn't add anything in terms of gameplay, no challenge, no options, nothing - just a waste of time (it takes a couple minutes to get through that 'cutscene'). You would have my vote if there's an option to skip it the next time.

No. I disliked the Joker mission. WTF? I'm Joker now?

You sure it wasn't the "lets pack all 12 squadmates into the shuttle" segment that broke the old immersion wajamacallit?
