Tho sadly I think there is enough of a fan base that even if they push out a half assed game that they will get enough people buying it to make money on it. *cough* C&C3/4, RA3, Starcraft 2*cough*
but I hope that Bioware's reputation is important enough to put out a good product. (I get the feeling the Starwars MMO its going to put on enough strain, at least what I have been hearing from alpha/beta testers)
So while the skycar was fun I wouldn't call it core game material. on that subject, I wouldn't mind a solo mission or 2 in ME3. It was kind of fun in Arival to be by yourself and either sneaking around or kicking-ass It sort of gave a validation to that Shep is a capable fighter on his own. I'm not saying it should be a huge part of it but I like it.
and yes what the Asari Spectere said did bug me a bit about being a specture.

looks like while it worked for the shadowbroker. its not something that should be put into the game full time. because IMO waste of time. Sure you wanna challange yourselves but imo not for core game matrial. Lets say for explaions sure. so the damage is limited.

Okay, now this I could actually enjoy!Parah_Salin wrote...
I'd like to see a mission on ilium with multiple stages that you can complete in different orders at multiple locations reached by skycar (kind of like overlord). But make it hazardous. Like harder than the hardest vehicle stuff in ME1. Have reapers tearing up the whole place and skyscrapers falling over. And make us drive a skycar through it.
Dodging a Reapers leg or an entire collapsing building? FUN.
I'm sure we all have seen this: If one were to look 23 seconds into it, they would see that Skycars versus Reapers = Epic Fail
As fun as it may be, it wouldn't make much sense at all.

Fine let me say it clearly for you, For the small amount of time it was in ME2 DLC it was fun. I don't want it to be a constant part of the game. I would not object to it maybe once or twice as part of the plot but not as a constant thing that always happens. IE having to run away from Cerbrus with Miranda and her sister and it envolves a botched/sabatoged/too much security, rescue of the sister to get away without a chase then sure thats fine.
I don't want to have to drive to my next destantion, I did too much of that with the ME2 ship to want to do it on planet. (If there was a reason to come from the dark side of a planet vs the sunny side i could see wanting to control the ship otherwise I have a poilt onboard my ship for a reason)

Look all I know is they need a better name than Skycar..... I mean come on what do they vehicles on the floor ground cars?
You don't like the skycar name? Cause I do.
If they changed the name, I don't know what they'd change it to.

I'm hoping in Mass Effect: Citadel Noire (where you play a human C-SEC officer, rising from rookie patrol cop to detective) they learn how to make a free roamer. Flying a skycar all around the ward arms would rock my world.

You know how in ME2, BioWare learned how to make a shooter?
