meet useless!

useless discovered a killer who sends white lillies to female victoms, but he is too useless and lazy to say "hello mother dearest, watch out ror white lillies!", then she died and he wondered why.

atleast in dao you had an impact on the storey... You chose the king if orzammar, fereldan, decided the fate of the dalish, how you killed the archdemon... It added immense replayability.
you have ZERO impact or choice on the olot, sideplots, or world in da2.. I hope da3 is different

Here's hoping Hawke admits that he's only good at killing things in DA3.

You and me both. Unless DA3 makes some major improvements I'm done with the series.

I don't know...depends on what happens in the next game. Nothing after Origins has matched the original game. There's been improvements but something about Origins just worked better. Made it more enjoyable and more replayable.

Can complain all we want about choices. But DA2 was basically close to about all the choices you ever got in friggen ME1. Check boxes for a few who died. The council being saved or not is basically the equivalent to if siding with the Mages or Templars in DA2. Since you get about jack in ME2 for your choices besides if you get reinstated to Spectres which is a sham and useless. ME = crap for choices and to be honest the first game blew to me. ME2 have even less choices. ME2 feels more like DA2 to me yet people complain about DA2 and not ME2? Origins probably gave people too many choices because when it comes to games from Kotor and so on they didn't really have any and with DA2 they felt entitled...

I'm going to have to disagree with you Torax. Mass Effect had loads of choices much more than DA2 had. And who knows if getting reinstated as Spectre is important or not, that reeks of "wait and see in ME3" where it could make a difference.

Mass Effect choices come at you each and every mission, especially loyalty missions. Sometimes it's just not killing a bad guy or not but they're all there. And with ME2's import (vastly superior to DA2's import) an awful lot of those choices are followed up on.

And then there's the fact that the choices affect and change the world. There's a choice in Mass Effect 1 to save or kill off an entire race which will of course have a massive affect on the finale.

May I state, Mass Effect the entire series is my favorite series ever. Love it. Love it. Love it. And the series just keeps getting better.

Hawke is a moron, either that or he's incredibly apathetic and lazy. He takes no initiative throughout the entire game, even when he's the Champion. And we're so railroaded through the plot that we can't take actions that should be obvious, like turning Anders in to the templars for subversion, or hunting down Quentin.
