Oh they wouldn't have to conscript you. Maybe they promised you a great deal of coin and you said "sure why not".

Then later on you find out the Chantry played an active part in getting you exiled, so you have the option to betray them from the inside.

I really hope that, if they do something like this, they do just flat out conscript you. One of the things I really liked about DA:O was that no matter who you wanted to play as, there was a pretty good reason why they'd be forced to do the main quest. A lot of the sorts of characters I like to play as really wouldn't join the seekers unless forced to.

I don't know how well a Seeker will work out, 'cause then we'll have people complaining about their character not being able to deny working with the Chantry and how they want to be atheist.

Working for a religious organization doesn't necessarily mean you have to believe it. The Chantry is built around hypocrisy, what's one more added to the pile where they let a non-believer live and work for them?


And, as I said earlier, maybe they give you a valid reason to betray the Chantry later on.

It seems to be the same armor...but it's pretty light.  Warriors can wear lighter armor though.  Cassandra just doesn't seem to be 'roguish' to me.

Is the armor thing true? I never noticed, thinking they were the same (but I'm bad at spotting differences like that, I will admit).

Edit:  *I looked at pics and I'm wrong...Cassandra does have heavier armor.  She has larger shoulder guards.*

They're similar, but Cassandra's has extra armour plates around the waist, as well as shoulder pads and elbow pads. It's basically just a reskined ans slightly reshaped version of the massive armour from DAO, in many parts.

Heehee, yeah, you are right...the armor is the same 'design' but Cassandra's is bigger in places.

Totally off topic, but I really just couldn't stand her voice. I'd actually turn the volume down and humm when she was talking. Fortunately, Varric's awesome voice was never far away when she was there.

However, she did have a cool look / attitude.
