I agree...it's the best part about her, IMO.

She would probably serve herself as dessert.

Sadly, no one's warden is dead. Thanks to a bioware fail where you can't import your dead warden and Have an Orlesian Warden Commander. If you import your wardens data, he never died to begin with.

I don't want the Warden back, because I am very uninterested in the direction this seems to be going, with Cassandra going on hero worship quest, to find two individuals who I am not sure how they can help her (even if the Warden could have died), instead of doing her job.
So let's start from scratch with a new PC that doesn't reek of superhero bs.

I don't want a new PC. We already have Hawke and The Warden.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

Why do we need another hero? Wouldn't that only lead to more superhero bs?

Exactly.
Superhero bs? Um, that's the point no? One PC is the Hero of Fereldan, Champion of Redcliff, Warden-Commander of Fereldan, and (in some playthroughs) King or Queen. The other PC is Champion of Kirkwall and (in some playthroughs) Viscountess of Kirkwall (or idealistic champion of mages/templars). I'm hard pressed to think of ANY recent RPG where your character isn't the hero (or at least anti-hero) of the tale. Besides I'm not playing this game to be a "companion" . I want to make my mark on the world I'm in. A lot of gamers do.
Add another PC? You're just going to get more "superhero bs". I have no problems with adding the ability to import a save from an Orlesian-origin PC, assuming your Warden is dead. Not having this functionality is a big black eye IMHO, but adding another PC? No thanks, there it just too much story to tell.
I want the Warden back, Hawke back, and the storyline plot holes filled.

Me too! I love my wardens and Hawke.. BUT bioware is not bringing the warden back and DA3 will have a new hero/champion/run a way bride ( add more) as main character. The best thing is not to get attached to any character in a game that is about a World and nOT a character. Yes I learned my lesson with the warden.

Link to where they announced this? DA 3 is very much in development. To my knowledge we have no idea who we'll be playing as yet. I find it really hard to believe they'd just abandon the warden storyline, especially since they did make the effort to put in little bits of the original companions into DA 2 and make allusions to the Warden.

We have no idea who we will be playing in DA3 but DA is about the world, David Gaider explains it a little here.
DAO was about the Warden. DA2 is about Hawke. What DA3 is about, or if there even will be a DA3, remains to be seen. All we have said about DA is that it's about the evolution of Thedas-- not about any single protaganist-- and we've never said otherwise.

what would be the point of bringing
back a character and forcing people to play a character that can
potentially be dead? Then they will have to make his character a low
level again, and it would be boring to play a character that is already
the champion of something, the to be fair bringing back the character
would be good for a laugh because he would have a voice and it would be
funny to watch the amount of fan hate it would be hilarious to see
people complain about it.
