Hey guys,
I noticed that a couple of fellow gamers are having the same issue I had with full game trial trophies not syncing after buying the retail disc. I don't know if any of you have tried this already but I wanted to share a workaround that solved the issue for me.

Solution: Delete your User Account and create a new one. (You will need to unlock the trophies again.)

Note: Backing up and restoring your PS3 using the backup utility may take from 2 to 4 hours each time depending on the size of your hard drive.

1. IMPORTANT: Backup your PS3 using the Backup Utility or at least backup your save data and sync your trophies. Deleting the account shouldn't erase your Game Data, Downloaded Games and Videos, but it will delete any PS3, PSP or minis save data.

2. Create a New User Account and Delete the account with the trophies not working.

3. Use your PSN login with the new account, sync your trophies, start a new game and unlock the trophies that were not syncing before. They'll pop again and you'll be able to sync them and make them count in your PSN card. Hopefully because the game trial is limited to an hour it shouldn't take long to unlock the trophies that were not syncing.

4. Restore your full Backup or your Save Data and keep playing the game if you haven't finished it.

The whole process is a pain but it is at least an option. Hopefully Sony will come out with a fix in the near future. I'll personally avoid full game trials in the meantime. Hope you find this useful. Feel free to post a better solution if you find one.

So if I do this, all the save data from my other games will be erased? and I will have to start from scratch? Isn't that a little tedious? Sorry I just wanted to clarify before I take action on this matter.
