I was reading http://dragonage.wik...re_of_the_Beast and I am not sure what happens if I choose both sides (werewolfs and elves). what happens to the humans, exactly?

You technically can't choose both sides. The way I see it, there are three endings to "Nature of the Beast."

1 - (Elves) Kill Witherfang, optionally killing Zathrien if you decide to bring him to Witherfang. The werewolves are all killed (or forced to flee, but this is uncertain and isn't actually seen). The elves that are infected are cured, and Lanaya takes over if Zathrien was killed.

2 - (Werewolves) Kill Zathrien and the elves, giving the werewolves free reign of the forest.

3 - (Elves) Convince Zathrien to sacrifice himself, lifting the curse. The elves are saved and Lanaya takes over. The humans are allowed to flee the forest and start new lives, or so the player is told. (A cured werewolf human makes a slightly spoilerific appearance in another Dragon Age product.

ok, but I am asking about side both because I like werewolves and want to side with the werewolves, but I also want the Mortal Vessel and the Skill And Sundry sold by Varathorn in Dalish Camp, but he only sell them after I side with elves. there is a way to get the tomes and side with the werewolves?

If you want to side with the werewolves and buy anything from Varathorn, you'll have to make your purchases before choosing Team Werewolf.

Jackkel suggested the alternative in option 3. The cured werewolves (humans) basically leave and you hear no more of them in DA:O, but you may get a random encounter with some Dalish who are angry about your decision. And, of course, you won't get werewolves to join your army.

No. You only get the tomes if you side with the elves, that's all. Also make sure that you don't do anything stupid with the Cammen's quest, or you cannot trade any more with Varathorn.

Technically, 'siding with both' is what you do when you cure the werewolves, since you neither assist them in wiping out the elves nor retrieve Witherfangs heart. In that sense, you're helping out both of them, since their goals aren't actually all that mutually exclusive. They both want a cure. You just don't get werewolves in your army in this case, obviously.

As mentioned, the cured humans run off afterwards.

(I'm also pretty sure I bought both tomes as soon as I arrived at the Dalish camp)

If you're dead set on siding with the werewolves (you can't keep them as werewolves AND let the elves live), and you're on PC, The Wolf Shop mod might be a good idea.

Unless I missed something, you should be able to buy whatever you want from Varathorn as long as you don't kill or tick off the elves. Once you side with the werewolves, you need cheats or mods to access the store again.

oh, thanks for the mod. I have ultimate edition for PC, so I can install it (and I will do ^^). just one more question: I already started the game, if I install this mod now my game will break or it will work normally?

Yes, you can buy both tomes as soon as you finish talking to Zathrian once you first arrive. Therefore, you can get the tomes and side with the werewolves, as long as you buy them before you speak to Lady of the Forest.

As long as you haven't entered the Brecilian Forest yet, the mod should work properly. There have been no reported bugs with the mod, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't backup your saves before installing it.

I have only entered the Brecilian Outskirts. so I can install the mod without problem?
and do you know if it works normally with the ultimate edition and the pach 1.04?

Should work with any version of the game, so stop worrying about that :P

Should work if you haven't advanced the quest into west brecillian forest, but you will have to just install and see what happens :)

If you do the rare ironbark quest and don't ask for a reward, he will trade with you again.
