Hobbling around the battlefield, constantly swearring and cracking jokes while capping up enemies with an assault rifle...
I don't know about you guys, but that sounds like it would be awesome in my opinion.I could see him as the type to stick behind cover and distract enemies with suppressing fire, while you go in for the kill.Due to his unique movement while walking you would have to be more strategic while moving him around the battlefield and have a different experiance than with typical squadmates.
I'd imagine him wearring specially designed light armor and using his piloting ability to fly some sort of radio-controlled probe to distract enemies as his ability.
Would Joker make a good Squadmate???

While I love the idea, he is a bigger risk than Tali (Seriously, why is this girl fighting? "Oh god I snagged my suit on a nail...")
He can't really move, and his brittle bones might make even shield hits dangerous. A single concussive shot could destroy the poor guy.

Nope. The husks would have him face down/ass up faster then you could say 'robot chicken'.

He could break his arm at them worked in Mass Effect 2 when the collectors came over to the Normandy...oh wait.

I think he'd be good as a support character. You have Shepard, two party members (full squad) and Joker just helping out.

Sadly, I doubt he could do much more. It appears as if he can manage his disease, but Joker isn't the kind of person I can see meeting a krogan warlord head-on and not hitting the ground with shattered limbs.
If he were the pilot for the shuttle, though, I think that'd be cool. More Joker? Yes please.

No. Joker is a pilot, not a warrior. Shepard only allows the best soldiers to fight by his/her side, because everybody else would die. A pilot who is also terribly fragile? He wouldn't las a minute... And it'd be a waste: the best pilot in the Galaxy, killed because his commander ordered him to try killing some krogans/husks/reapers/etc. Even if he wasn't sick, even if he was a great fighter, it would be stupid risking someone as valuable as him in a battle.

no, and he wouldn't even try. the guy knows his limits. he's good comic relief on your ship. he's a pilot and that's what he wants to be.

Joker is the best damn pilot. And he should continue being so. Hard to fly us around when he's constantly in the medbay because a hanar sneezed on him and shattered his fibula.

Yeah, he'll be a good squad mate if you like collecting him up after every mission and scooping him into a bag

What with Joker's condition I doubt he'd make a very good squadmate. Unless he's piloting a mech or something...
that could be cool actually- especially if EDI was part of it as well

He had no trouble lifting that steel beam at the end of Mass Effect 2...

Joker has the amazing ability to break his arms at his foes.
Truly he is the key to ending the Reaper threat.

Why have him as a squad mate when you can... as shown in the demo vids...
Shepard pulls out a targeting laser. "Joker, I'm painting the target." The Normandy screams in and drops a pair of javelin torpedoes on a Reaper.
Yeah... he is a support character. Fire support XP

I can see it now...
Joker goes in the field with full protection and is hit with a concussion shot....Every bone in his body breaks..... Then Sheperd trying to save him uses media gel.....with out setting the bones.....:evil smile:

We've spent entire ****ing game gathering the best from the bests... to run around with fragile pilot with no combat expertise? That sounds insulting.
