I used to use Jin as a pseudonym quite often cause it's like a cool sounding version of my very French first name ; also I like the vowel "i", for some reason I find it bright and positive.

It turned into "jni" because Jin was too cool for me, jni sounds more absurd and stupid, and cuter too, like it's an alien name. It soon became jni jni, which some of my friends actually call me !

Now "jnijni" contains "nij" so it's nijnij. Somehow it's harder to read than jnijni... I guess I didn't intend to use the social site when I registered my Origins copy. ^^

When I was creating my XBL account I knew I wanted to have KING is it. The name I wanted was not available. It gave me several different names I could use, and one of them was hidden(some number) I thought HiddenKING would be a cool name and I've had it for 5 years now give or take.

Well, as I was signing up for BSN, Elton John broke into my house and started singing to me and so I picked up the glass I was drinking from and smacked it around his head - killing him in the process. With him dead on the floor, I came up with this username; Elton John is Dead.

Wish I could change it but alas, I cannot. Also, I'm either infamous or famous around here now and everyone either hates or loves me, so it's a bit to late to change usernames.

Seriously, asking me if my name is a Wheel of Time reference is the leading cause of "suicide by ish."

Ishmael was the name of the character I was playing in Morrowind when I signed up at the Bethsoft boards back in '02 or '03. He was an altmer who joined House Telvanni. The "forsaken" bit came from the story of Ishmael in the Torah.

At the time I needed a username I was pretty into Greek Mythology and I wanted to incorporate nymphs into my username. So I came up with Lenymph (pronounced Le-Nymph), but unfortunately that was taken on the website I wanted so I improvised and used Lenimph instead.

And no I did not make as a reference to nymphomania... intentionally anyway.

Hmm well the Ken part is a real life nickname among a few, the last is about the bleach captian of the same name. Friend of mine used to say I was so much like him and I was like thats BS and I went on wiki read the profile, and saddly having read it and seen a few eps with him, it fits me alot, we both even wash our hair with soap, and I've said alot of the same **** he has before even knowing of him. Also I fit being Sarge from RvB. Which actully was where my old SN came from, prefer this one alot more.

So in jest he kept calling me Ken of Clan Kenpachi, so I used it as a SN shortend to KenKenpachi.

I simply love Pride Demons, they are plain badass...
The only thing I may add is that when I tested the name I was amazed (but also delighted) at the realization no one had already clamed it...

Oh yeah... I personally didn't mind the mushroom-dwellers, was more of a Redoran guy myself though... ;P

Mine was based on the band Atreyu. I don't have any great love for them, but The Theft was on the air a lot when I was trying to come up with a name for my WoW shaman many moons ago. Since the song and the band's name were stuck in my brain, I ended up creating a feminized version of Atreyu for her. I'm a chick IRL and raid with my guild on my main, so I'm rather attached to the name and ended up using it as my username on forums ever since then.

EDIT: The N7 is a Mass Effect reference that I stuck on because when BioWare switched from the old forums to the BSN, it wouldn't let me move my old name intact, heh.

A couple years ago I briefly played (like, for about a week) a F2P game called "Space Cowboys", which I believe is now called "Ace Online" or something. Anyway, one of the paint jobs available for the aircraft I flew was black, so I adopted the username "TheBlackBaron" as a reference to the Red Baron (spaces not being allowed). I've been using it on and off since then, including for the old BioBoards, so I carried it over to here.

Ethereal because I love that word immensely, because I enjoy things that are heavenly or spiritual, and because for the last few years now I've been having some prophetic dreams which I consider to fall in line with being ethereal. Some are spot-on, others are only correct by a little bit. But nevertheless, they're prophetic dreams.

Writer because I'm a writer.

Redux because my old account wouldn't upload my trophies and Wardens (whom I kept naming Xanthos. After a while I got too confused on who was who that I just said "Xanthos fits my DNs best. That's that."), so I made a new account with the same name and tacked on the Redux at the end.
