Slidell is my username for everything, it's a Parish near (well across the causeway) where I live and I like the sound of it. I assumed Slidell was taken so I added 505, probably wasn't, but I didn't feel like checking.

I preferred Hlaalu personally: well, okay, they were like a bunch of used car salesmen, but Redoran had become corrupt and decadent and Telvanni were a bit haughty and annoying. And Redoran and Telvanni didn't have Crassius Curio.Pride Demon wrote...
Oh yeah... I personally didn't mind the mushroom-dwellers, was more of a Redoran guy myself though... ;P

Magna Carta - important historical document
Get Carter - classic British film
one of these is a reference to my real name, the other adds an extra bit for uniqueness
Chose the Carter spelling to avoid advertising a video game

Gnas is part of the Lakota Mythos. I am Oglala Lakota Sioux. So, I went with my people's myths.
The offspring of Unk and Iya was a beautiful babe, and as he grew he begame very alluring. He was also cunning and deceitful. He delighted most of all in enticing others to do that which would make them ridiculous or ashamed. Skan named him, Gnas (Demon)
I was going to translate Ardat Yakshi (Demon of the Night Winds) into Lakota as a user name but Lakota lacks direct translation ability so the closest I was able to come was Demon Who Runs Around at Night or Windy Night Demon. I thought of using Wind or Night translated in Lakota but Gnas, is part of my people's mythos so, I chose to be Gnas or Demon, although I am female and Gnas is male.
Plus, the Lakota translation was too long, too many characters.

My name means asterisk, and i got it in a professional training. I lived together for 12 weeks with 64 men, as only one woman
(no wrong thoughts..lol.. i had my own room
) The school was hard for the most of us.... But.. i loved the guys, they were real gentlemen, and i made coffee, while we learned, talked to them, when they were sad, because they couldn´t be with their family or had fear for the exams.. i had a pill for the headache and all times, they could ask me for help
They gave me this name .. and all times, i use it, if it´spossible..because i remember this time very often and with a warm heart

I got mine from my favorite song. I like it because the song is about being your own person. Not just conforming to what other people want you to be.

My Username is coming from my very first MMORPG game Illarion. My Main Character I created there was Aleytys. I had one of the biggest RP events there - including Drama, Love, Dragons, Demons and Bad Guys. Framework written by myself for Aleytys Part - the others took the story in different ways and gave them life. 3 GM's realized it for me - specially the endbattle. But the guys called me at the forums and IG *Aly* A long time she was a Dark Hero IG
Since there I use this name - and I still think back with proud and excitement to my times on Illarion.

At first glance can look like 'Got Wood'
And yet can also be a pretentiously obscure reference to the ASoIaF series.
(Got Wood + Godswood = GodsWood)
Or at least that's the explanation I'm going with...

My Username was inspired by the concept of Blood-Magic in Dragon Age:Origins. I felt "Blood-Lord" was an appropriate titled rank for a Maleficar. Thanatos means Death in Greek.
Fun facts:
Necros means "corpse" in greek. so, a Necropolis is not a city of death but literally a city of corpses.
Necrodermis is literally a 'corpse-skin'

ISI-Society (aka "ISIS") is one of the groups in the webring/community I was helping to build/run last year.
As a handle, it has several advantages:
* Identical to my PSN ID
* Originality (i.e., not being already taken).
* Brevity
* Having a convenient conversational diminutive (i.e., "ISI")
* Being easily recognized by other members of my webring/societes.

When I was a kid, I stumbled on a Transformers fansite where you could create your own character. And this was the best name I could come up with. Then it became my pc in a Transformers RPG. And I kept using it. And thus, here I am.

I had a username I ueed before in reference to Dragonball Z because I was obsessed with it when I was younger and I kept using it. Then 8 years ago I got tired of using it because I have no more interest in it.
So, I wanted to create a user name that would reflect my interests that I wouldn't grow out of.
Pretty self explanatory:
I love Role Playing Games and I thought two "g"s in a row looked stupid. So, I combined the last letter with Gamer.
Now, you're probably wondering "why the number 13?"
There's a couple reasons: It is my favorite/luckiest number and I was born on a Friday the 13th.

Milana - A more-easy-on-the-English version of my real name. A name I've used in RPGs since the 90's.
Saros - A name I've used for male minions/pets in the past. Couldn't use just plain Milana so I had to resort to crap like this.
_ = I wasn't aware that you are allowed to use space D:

Story involves stream of consciousness prose about self perception, failed relationships and a half eaten lobster in the gutter while walking through kingscross after clubbing all night.
My friends decided it was my new nick name, they are awesome that way.
More about my hello-goodbye relationships than the shellfish though.
Weird thing is it went from low-bye to lob-ee to low-bee because some how thats easier for Australians to enunciate. I think.
I kept the LoBi for written form as I think it looks better in an aesthetic sense and am not fussed about the phonetic disconnect.
