****, some one had an amazing theory based around the idea that the events on Akuze were canon, and Shepard had extreme PTSD and had constructed a reality in which he was the only person that could save the galaxy to make up for failing his men. I honestly would love for that to be the end game twist. If someone knows what I'm talking about post a link I want to read it again.

Shepard has actually been in a coma the whole time since the Eden Prime Beacon. The Reaper invasion was just a Prothean movie...

I posted something like that a while back.

Just before each cycle, the Reaper vanguard creates one organic being in one of the species they plan to destroy, a child, who is put into a family, using indoctrination to make the family believe that the child was and has always been theirs. This child has abilities beyond that of the rest of his species - he reacts quicker, runs faster, is smarter, and is generally superior, nurtured to grow up as the perfect soldier, yet not to the point that people become suspicious of his abilities.

They do this to test the worth of each civilization - if this child, the civilization's best hope, has the ability to defeat the Reapers, then that civilization has proven it's worth and is allowed to continue evolving. As of yet, none of the hundreds, thousands of Reaper/organics has been successful, very few have lived up to the potential in their genes, and those that did were unsuccessful. In this cycle, that child is Shepard.

Far-fetched, and probably wouldn't work, but it would still make a pretty good plot twist.

Shepard will travel through space and time and will recruit Reven to help him fight the Reapers. Then they'll get the Grey Wardens on their side to just cause

Search for "Klencory" and look at the discussions about it.

Anyways, Harbinger repeatedly claims that they, the reapers, are out salvation through destruction.

Now, the Volus billionaire got it all wrong with "beings of light" - and BW won't pull some angel race out of the hat to come save us from the Reapers.

However the angels of light will come, only that they are the true menace and the Reapers are actually "good" in that they fight them. Every so often when Gods races becomes to evolved he awakens the angels of lights to purge all life and push the reset button. The reapers have merely found a way to circumwent this and thus they do everyone a favor, building new reapers from their defeated foes to eventually be able to kill "God"

Shepard is actually becoming younger. And he must defeat the Reapers before he becomes a foetus once again.

The Reapers are purging all advanced species because the overuse of Mass Relays and other Mass Effect technology cause dark energy buildup, which if left unchecked would destroy the universe. They are wiping out sentience to give the universe time to "cool down."

Unless if Shepard actually turns out to be Brad Pitt I don't support this.

Reapers are actually the good guys. They said they "impose order on the chaos of organic life", right? Maybe they're really serving some kind of higher purpose, one that an organic being couldn't possibly understand.

Master Chief and Cortana after the events of Halo 3 head into the construct seen in the Halo 4 trailer and it teleports them 366 years back into the past into Earth's orbit. Shepard then sees the burning ship with Chief standing on the outside and rushes to rescue him. Chief gets on the Normandy and goes off on a quest to save Shepard's universe from the Reapers and to find a way back to his own universe.

It is a joke.

Remember how the Protheans meddled with our evolution?

I think we created the Reapers, and they nearly destroyed us. We were extinct, but sent beacons warning about the Reapers and our genetic dna in the beacons. As we were evolving, the Protheans instilled in us our own genetic code to be "reborn", so to speak.

Now we must stop what we have started and destroy the creation that has slaughtered trillions.

Even if we have to sacrifice ourselves.

That's my guess :)

(The search function here is bogus, but you can look a page back or two.)

Anyways...

Harbinger:"Anderson never told you about your father."
Shepard:"He told me enough! He told me the Collectors took him!"
Harbinger:"No Shepard, we are your Father."
Shepard:"I should go."

Someone should DeviantArt this.
