Because Skyrim takes place in a medieval fantasy setting and not a futuristic military setting? I'm indifferent on the subject as I wouldn't have to bother using beards if I didn't feel like it but that reasoning just hurts.

QFT. I dislike when people compare different games like this especially Mass Effect and Dragon Age. They're two different games or at least they were suppose to be until Mike Laidlaw tainted Dragon Age. 

You people clearly do not understand the meaning of a "Joke". BTW The Elder Scrolls series was never a medieval game (Except for Arena) but rather a fantasy game with medieval elements.

I think I heard somewhere that the hairstyle and facial hair can be changed on imported sheps, but I could be wrong.
