I've always thought that Udina just needs a hug. In fact, I want an option to hug Udina in ME3.

scene: Udina screams and jumps across room and quickly kills Garrus and
Thane, slaps Shepard's gun from his hand. Dramtic fight scene ensues,
Shepard is forced to use biotic powers against Udina's lightsaber. After
approximately three minutes, Shepard had a defeated Udina pinned up
against a large open window)
SHEPARD: You are under arrest, My Chancellor!
(Admiral Hackett walks in)
UDINA: Hackett, I told you it would come to this! I was right! The Spectres are taking over!
SHEPARD: The oppression of the Sith will never return! You have lost!
UDINA:
NO, NO, NO! YOU WILL DIE!! (Uses biotic power and shoots bolts of
electricity from his hands at Shepard, Shepard struggles to withstand
with his own biotics)
UDINA: HE'S THE TRAITOR!
SHEPARD: HE IS THE TRAITOR, AAAARRRGGGH!!!!
UDINA: (At Hackett) I HAVE THE POWER TO SAVE THE ONE YOU LOVE! YOU MUST CHOOSE!
SHEPARD: DON'T LISTEN TO HIM HACKETT!
UDINA:
DON'T LET HIM KILL ME! AARRGGHH!! (Shepard begins to get the better of
him) I CAN'T HOLD IT ANY LONGER! I...I...I....I CAN'T....WEAK.....I'M
TOO WEAK...HACKETT (Udina finally relinquishes his biotics and
collapses) HELP ME! I....I..can't hold on any longer.
SHEPARD: I'M GOING TO END THIS, ONCE AND FOR ALL!
HACKETT: You can't, he must stand trial!
SHEPARD: HE HAS CONTROL OF THE SENATE AND THE COURTS! HE'S TOO DANGEROUS TO BE LEFT ALIVE!
UDINA: I'm too weak...don't kill me....please!
HACKETT: It's not the Alliance way! He must Live!
SHEPARD: (Picks up gun from floor and aims at Udina)
UDINA: Please! Don't!
HACKETT: I NEED HIM!
(Shepard readies gun)
UDINA: Please don't!
(Shepards prepares to shoot)
Hackett: NO!!!! (Draws lightsaber and chops off Shepard's gun arm)
SHEPARD: AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! HACKETT!!!! WHY?
UDINA:
(Attacks with his lightning biotic again) POWER!
SHEPARD: (Shepard starts
burning alive) WHY?!!!!!!!
UDINA: UNLIMITED POWER!
(Shepard flies out of the window, with
the force of Udina's biotic power)
HACKETT: (Horrified) WHAT HAVE I DONE? (Collapses to his knees)
UDINA: You are fulfilling your destiny, Admiral Hackett.....

Udina's a great character.
I don't know why people blame him for the Normandy lockdown scene, since its obvious the Council and Alliance believed Shepard was becoming a nuisance.

Udina is a total dick. I gave the council seat to Anderson but realistically Udina would be the better leader. Anderson is ment to be a military man...although seeing how the Reapers are invading Earth that might have been a smart move all in all.

The decision doesn't really matter anyway, since Anderson has resigned his position a councilor by the time the Reapers invade.

I have to admit I laughed a little when I saw this thread, (not in an offensive way, I just never thought that there would be an Udina fan thread). I'm rather indifferent to Udina myself, he is what he is. But I'm glad to see that every character in the game has some sort of fanbase

I had no respect for Udina until he backstabbed me, showed that he wouldn't compromise his position on faith and always seeks to place his position (which is also humanity's position) over one man's supposed "delusions".
