Not too long ago I was replaying my shepard and had the game paused to read a rather long email I got.. The game's background music/noises were still on and ocassionally I'd hear the noise of something that sounds similar to whale sounds. I don't know if this is part of the music or just freedom's progress. Since there is water in the level it could be (space) whales?

Or dare I say the rachni similar to the rachni you hear in ME 1
