i own the steam copy of dragon age 2 and bought my exiled prince download from here, however now that i have installed it it is telling me that my version of exiled prince is unauthorized and as a result i cant find him in game, anyone know of a solution to this?

For the retail disc or EA Store digital download, you must enter the activation code for the DLC, as contained and described in the (seperate) email.  Can't say exactly how the Steam version works, but expect it's similar..
