The ME-universe is big and left to your own imagination on many levels. I wouldn't mind seeing a new alien race from beyon mass relay-space for example, but that would be a major thing. A minor thing I would like to see or hear about though in ME3 is the SSV Waterloo. Must be out there, right?
You people have similar details that you would like to see in ME3?

Space Hamster. I dont want robo-dog to replace him!
Oh and lots more news articles/adverts to appear when your at the hub stations like Illium and the Citadel. They were always fun to stop and listen too. Its just after two plays you knew them all off by heart and it got a little repetitive. Still entertaining though

If I'd got him rather then the goddamn cyber dog in the Collectors then I wouldn't be hesitating in buying it

I would like them to not include check-list side-quests. In Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age: Origins you had to talk to your squad in order to get their side missions, and normally this involve several conversations.
In Mass Effect 2 after a certain length of time these just magically appeared and Kelly somehow knew they wanted a chat despite them all being locked in their own rooms while she pretends to work on the bridge.
In Dragon Age 2 they just magically appeared after certain missions and you got a nice check-list telling you to talk to your friends.
I dislike being treated like an idiot and I dislike being spoon-fed in an RPG.
