PC just puts the dragon out of it's misery, because judging by the growl when the sword strikes, it's not dead. And since she had no eyes, she was clearly suffering. So an act of mercy really

.. hehe, oh wait we do.. and yea they do have a spell to reanimate corpses of fallen enemies, I think it even allows you to use class specific talents and powers with the animated dead. ^^

The trailer was indeed excellent. It seems Bioware is now beating Blizzard soundly in cinematics. The dragon-stab was likely a...mercy-kill, of sorts; very little gets up again once you stab it through the brain a few times.



Doubt many enemies will come back. Maybe the undead variety.



Very much worth it.

My apologies, but i'm gonna have to disagree with ya. I think her acrobatics were awesome lookin & half the coolness of the trailer! They looked skilled & professional to me, & bein more theatrical with them woulda been worse rather than better. Professionals don't act like they're in a theater play.

Next to SW:TOR's Decieved trailer i think this is the sexiest CG Cinematic i've come across! Forget Pixar, Bioware should make CG Movies!

I cannot take it as one because honestly, that is right, that one cinematic is better in action, direction, photography and sheer awesome factor than any animated movie out there or at the very least on par with the very best. The people who made this short SHOULD be making animation movies, "adult" and "mature" animation movies aimed for an adult public the way Beowulf was intended to be (although failing miserably but you know what I meant)

That might explain the talk i've heard about the characters in the trailer lookin different from their portrayal on their character pages.

My favorite part was the dragon squishing the ogre under it's heel & makin it look like a common goblin.

Fair enough man. Tho it was intended as a joke i totally agree with you there. If you got these guys together with those whom write the stories for these types of games then you would deffintely get one great Adult Animation Film way way better than anything that's been tried before (outside of Anime).

the HD version on XBL marketplace looks phenomenal

you can totally see the eyes of the dragon just POP from the electrical discharge

I can't speak for everyone, but seeing Leliana in this trailer made me want her in my team more. I'm not usually one for preaching, but i'll make an exception for her as long as her preaching isn't aimed at me too much!

Tyrax Lightning -> First I thought she was speaking 'high language' but when I watched this trailer again and again (It's really great) I realised that this is some kind of incantation or prayer (as Bio-Boy 3000 said). Incantations are ok Maybe my first impression was like that, because English is not my native language and I interpreted (is this past form right?) her words wrong.

The sacred ashes trailer was awful. I'm anticipating this game as it is mature, intelligent, and strategic. This trailer with its over-the-top action, ridiculous acrobatics, and its corny dialogue would only be found incredibly entertaining by one with the mentality of a child. The rest would likely find it mildly amusing, or an insult to their intelligence.
