No romance here. I'll feel like my PC is doing some giggly teenage romance thing considering the choices on offer.
Who does not plan to do romance?

I can only guarantee I won't. But the other NPC may come on to the PC.

I really dont know..
Depends on how it folds out, and what I feel like at the time.
My PC will firstly not try to get involved with anybody, but she might be softened up..

I will not actively pursue it, as frankly the prospect of some on-screen romance does not titillate me. However, if it happens without any extra effort, I will not try to prevent it. In Mass Effect, for example, I ended up with Liara just by not acting like an ass whenever I spoke to her, though I never intended things to go that way. I suspect something similar will happen here as I tend to choose "nice" dialogue answers and that may lead to one of the NPCs taking a shine to me.

I will certainly. It's going to be fun to see me dwarf hook up with human woman.

My first character will be quite asexual. Romantic dalliances and sex hold little meaning and value to him at best, and at worst could prove distracting in his mission. If his wedding hadn't been spoiled, his marriage would most certainly have been lacking in passion.
That, and I hate most romantic sub-plots, and will ensure that this story won't have one! Too bad that outside of snark and sardonism, he's not really a crass ****, so he might end up getting some unwanted attention, knowing how these games tend to work. Sigh.

I don't care much for "romance" in games, from what I've seen they often feel tacky, forced and rushed. If I do it, it has to fit the character I'm playing, and the NPC in question has to appeal to that character IC and to me OOC -- or at least not annoy me. And it should feel "natural", not like a "quest" or a set of hoops to jump through. I did hook up with Silk Fox in JE just to see what it's like, but while I did like her, the relationship didn't really do much for me and did feel a bit too quest-like.
For Dragon Age, I currently have four characters planned (all women). The noble dwarf and the Dalish elf definitely will not have a relationship since they'd hurl at the thought of humping someone outside their species. One of my two humans may take an interest in Leliana, but only if they abovementioned conditions are met.

It depends if I get somthing out of it "like an Item I could use or a stat boost" than yeah but it will be done like some quest I don't really want to do just need to.

I don't plan to try. Which will probably keep me from doing them. I respect BioWare for putting romances in the game, and I don't fault anyone for doing them. I'm just not interested in them at all. I see no point in it, I guess. I long for the days when you stomped on Goombas and avoided fireballs from plants emerging from pipes with never a thought to what you and the princess would do at the end. When I played I never thought "Oh yeah. When I find this woman, I'm going to stick my....awww..toad again..."

I'm sure one or two of my playthroughs *caughdwarvencaugh* will be romanceless, but overall I will attempt each one.
That's strange. For me, the climactic romance scene is going to be one of the high points of playing a dwarf.
EDIT: High points. Dwarf sex. Har-har.

I tend to love these games for the story first, and most good stories include romance. Having said that, this is an RPG so I will follow that path if it feels right.

Not on my first playthrough, I'll try to be a nice guy without getting involved with anyone. Also, my first char will be a dalish elf and there's no female elf to romance so...
I'll probably give it a try when I play a human char.

"Romance" in these games is always silly and wooden at best. If it's the titilation of puppet sex you seek, watch some manga porn instead. Several early impressions of the game already state similar things.
What about a bromance?

I don't have anything against it, Both Alistair and Zev annoy me from what I have seen of them though, so I'm more likely to gut them, than romance them

I find this idea equal to not experiencing content. There was content put into the game I just cannot imagine why you would not want to experience it. Especially when you can experience it in so many different ways.

I doubt I will. I didn't in seven playthroughs of Mass Effect.
It's theoretically possible if one of the characters really appeals to me and it seems right but otherwise I predict 6+ playthroughs and 0 romances.

I have a couple characters planned that are unlikely to romance anyone due to paranoia or general lack of emotion, but I do plan on enjoying all romances. I look forward to differences between interracial and homosexual romances, along with seeing how the NPCs grow to accept affection. I am mostly interested to see if Origins will make a big impact on how the romances pan out... I would hope that the romance options would be more sympathetic to a city elf than others, etc.
Plus I enjoy seeing every aspect of the game.

I will just play and see how things go, if I think one of the NPC's is nice, I might romance, if none of them are really interesting, then not.. a bit like real-life.
Is see romancing as a nice thing aside, if it's fun, then hell yes. If it's just silly stuff, then whatever.

Being a FANTASY romance I probably will. If it were realistic you would have a hard day of whacking various baddies and then the ol lady would have you up on the roof cleaning out the gutters and then tell you she was too tired when you snuggled up for some well deserved tension removal. I would skip that....
Being fantasy however and me being old I will do the romance assuming I actually like one of the romanceables. Seen many a boob in real life so no overpowering need to see the digital version.

Seriously doubt it, unless it opens up a quest chain or something.

I never go into a game saying- yes- that dude is hawt and I am going to get into his pants so help me God.
I just talk to everyone and if an NPC catches my fancy, and the dialogues seem compatible with my PC style- I let it happen.
