If you take a look at this: (http://imageshack.us...10608at214.jpg/), you can note the following details:

-Krogan DMZ (I´m going to start with the obvious details)
-Crescent Nebula with a marker ``Conflict Zone´´ (What does Conflict Zone mean? It obviously has Reapers... )
-Minos Wasteland (Not indicated by name, but its dot appears in the map, compare it with ME2)
-Serpent Nebula (See Minos Wasteland for details)
-Styx Theta (Brenon Holmes says he´s just as confused as me in this one.)
-Horse Head Nebula (http://fc00.devianta..._by_DWebArt.png and previous link shows it, and are we going to visit Minuteman Station?)
-Exodus Cluster (Only major world for me is Eden Prime. Return to starting point?)
-The Shrike Abyssal (Behind the Crescent Nebula sign)
-Omega Nebula (Check ME2 map and compare with the picture. If we aren´t going to visit Omega, then I´m not going there in any way.)
-Local Cluster (Because Earth and Mars gotta take some weapon heat)

I will continuously update this with info on clusters. Enjoy reading!;)

If you notice any other dots, rembember: I only post those with confirmed names. If one manages to escape me, post here, please.

I will continuously do whatever I can to permit the speculation about the galaxy.

Oh, one more thing: when ME3 comes out, all clusters are going to be displayed here.

Conflict zone could refer to some other conflict you need to resolve in order to unite 2 groups against the Reapers.

I´m beginning with the ones in that shot: The supposed Local Cluster is too close to Krogan DMZ.

Thanks, but I´m talking about the star clusters in the galaxy.

Hah, no, Horizon is in the Shadow Sea cluster: http://masseffect.wi...wiki/Shadow_Sea

EDIT: Vert already said it.

I'm an idiot.

Illium might be attacked by Reapers or just Cerberus?

It definitely looks like the local cluster to me.  Weren't the developers coming from Earth at the time anyway?

Why don´t you compare the Galaxy Maps of ME1 and ME3?

I don't think that matters, since there's no mass relay that directly links the krogan DMZ with the Local Cluster.

Ok, but there is an investigation you can can do in the Styx Theta.

No worries

Reapers and Cerberus could be on Illium, who knows

That's where the Collector you studied on the Collector ship originated from.

You may want to check out the Story section of the Known Features thread. There are confirmed planets there that may lead to the systems/locations you are looking for.

Yeah, I've seen the pics. I'm not gonna start speculating. The Crescent Nebula has over 12 planets, so we're probably gonna see other planets than Illium, which I see no reason of going back to.

I like how they kept the mining mechanic, but made it only as a mission finder; you scroll over the planet, not to find minerals, but to select missions on different parts of the planet.

This makes it possible to have multiple missions on every planet, but not to go to a hub area each time.  Like the Illum Spaceport or the Urdnot base on Tuchanka.  I was gettin sick of hearing the same people utter the same things when I was walking around to find a new mission.  ("Sell at twenty five!!" or "I think that little one was my son!")  They're good little mini-stories that make the world come alive, but once you heard it for the 35th time it gets tedious. :D

I like how this is going.  Now if they can only figure out the mining in ME3.... :P

Anyone else notice how it's all THE MILKY WAY in big letters?

Referring to our galaxy.

Why would they need to tell us that? None of the previous games did. The only reason I can see is if we're going to end up going to other galaxies...

Look at this pic (ME1 and 2 map combined) for comparison:
Posted Image
The player is clearly going from the Local Cluster, via the Serpent Nebula (the Citadel), to the Krogan DMZ. There seems to be a cluster closer to the edge of the galaxy, coming from the Krogan DMZ. Coming from the Cresent Nebula, there seems to be one cluster which either is, or is close to, the Minos Wasteland, and another which looks like it's between the Shrike Abyssal and the Valhallan Threshold. On the other side, either in or around the Traverse, there are two new clusters, one sort of between the Horsehead Nebula and Gemini Sigma, and another between the Exodus Cluster and Artemis Tau. There seems to be a cluster on the far side of the map that looks very close to, or is one of, Hawking Eta and Styx Theta, although I think this one looks slightly further down and closer to the Galactic Core, that may just be the perspective of the map. My eyes may be decieving me, but there also seems to be a cluster near Far Rim, if I was to hedge bets this is Rannoch's cluster.
