Yeah, I've seen the pics. I'm not gonna start speculating. The Crescent Nebula has over 12 planets, so we're probably gonna see other planets than Illium, which I see no reason of going back to.
You see no reason to go back there and have some urban combat, viewing the potential destruction of one of the galaxy's cultural centers. It sounds like a great place to go back to. Much rather go back there than to some no-name planet within the system.

Anyone else notice how it's all THE MILKY WAY in big letters?
Referring to our galaxy.
Why would they need to tell us that? None of the previous games did. The only reason I can see is if we're going to end up going to other galaxies...
Hmmm....
Brilliant
Sol is certainly there. But theres so little infomation other then the obvious labels shown already it speculation galore. Im assuming that nothing highlighted on Sol means we cannot return there untill we do other quests first. Then again there simply may not be an active quest to do but can land at a hub? who knows.
Still its a bit of fun guessing

"Iota Horologii - A 342-hour-long epic produced by Got Serbos, when it premiered a decade ago it met critical acclaim, but bombed in the box office. The film tracks twelve alien families as their empires clash in an unnamed galaxy in the Horologium supercluster."
Not just other galaxies. Other superclusters! That's the scale.
Always wanted to see the Andromeda galaxy myself. We are near 100% certain that there are intelligent life to be reaped in other spiral galaxies.

I was JUST about to post that.
Jk.
But yeah, why identify what galaxy we're in....unless there are other galaxies?

Like someone already said, ME1 and ME2 both said "The Milky way" too.
Did they? I never noticed...

Could be a temp name or could be a new system.

The only system I'm not sure about is the Styx Theta. It's very close to that position but if you watch the video the system definitely starts with an N or H or something and has more letters (At least 6) than the word "Styx."
Could be a temp name or could be a new system.
Which were the letters? Also, add link so I can add to the list.

It's incredibly hard/near impossible for me to read due to the quality of the video (which was a stream so presumably there's no better quality video available)
But it's the very same image in the OP just a fraction of a second earlier in the video when the name of the system is visible but too blurry to accurately read.
It's exactly at 13:33 in the video below:

wait, why? I thought we were just speculating what systems will be in ME3? for me, I hope Gliese 81 or some others will be put around the Sol System, I think it's ridiculous to call The Local Cluster THE Local Cluster if we can only visit 1 system, I thought the word ''Cluster'' implied a lot of thing shoved together into an area.Fatemaster wrote...

I think we will visit Illium. It's a planet with huge skyscrapers we got to know, but it isn't really important. Probably it will be in flames, making it an apocalyptic alien world next time we visit it. It's the perfect non-human place to completely destroy for Bioware. (Bartender leading the resistance.)
Interesting theory; it would certainly make the transition towards Aethyta's revelation of Liara's parentage smoother.
...not sure why you think I can help this thread. My only talent is disgusting motivational humour, I'm a bit lost on intellectual discussion.
