The playthroughs where they die I try to have ingame justifications for it...so I don´t do it because I hate them, but because my Shepard doesn´t care about them, didn´t have the time to upgrade etc.

Have a playthroughs with all Cerberus crewmates and squadmates dead, and another where only they are alive. I don´t really like letting people die, but I´ll do it for the sake of (slightly) different outcomes!

After my first account were everyone survived every other account i have decided who will live and who will die (e.g. only Tali and Garrus survive) to see how it will affect ME3; but i like all of my crew

My Ruthless Shepard--The Butcher of Torfan--is committed to accomplishing the mission, no matter the cost. Remember, on the mission that made Ruthless Shepard famous--or infamous perhaps--the Butcher lost most of the unit. And Shepard killed any enemy survivors: no prisoners. Mission is paramount; subordinates are tools used to attain the goal.

So as an exercise in game theory--coated in a roleplaying patina--all but one of my Ruthless Shepards (eight total) lost team members. Metagaming? You betcha. I'm curious about how character losses will affect subsequent content in ME3.

Regarding the sociological and psychological implications of such choices, then the developers are guilty too. By creating conditions enabling players to make ruthless decisions with deadly consequences, the developers are condoning and facilitating vicarious rage, violence, and murder. Their demons inform and infect the players. Right?

Wrong. It's a game.

No more Jacob for me! I have 6 Shepards waiting to be imported, Jacob is dead in all of them. I think there is one where I got rid of Miranda too.

Wonderfully stated.

Nope. Jacob was the closest but he isn't annoyingly dull like the worst character ever, Kaiden, is.

Believe it or not,but I don't dislike any of ME2's squaddies,so no,I did not intentionally kill any of them.

That being said,Ashley has not survived a single one of my ME1 playthroughs--and had the option been available,I would have gladly left Kaidan on Virmire, too.

Yes.  At first Jack survived even though she wasn't loyal, so I did another playthrough where I didn't upgrade the ship's armor.  Bahahahaha!

Also, my alien-hating renegade made sure that most aliens died.  It was heartbreaking to see Garrus and Tali die, though.  That's the only playthrough where those two died.

Yep once when I let Jack die but that was because I lost her loyalty. Also once on accident with a random Mordin death.

Nah, I didn't intentionally kill any members, Mordin died in my insanity run due to a low hold the line score but thats it. All my other Sheps are the frickin messiah!

Edit: If I did intentionally kill someone it would be Zaeed {puts on flame retardent jacket}

Personally, I think having all 8 of my Shepards have everyone alive for ME3 would be boring. I intentionally kill off every one I can in at least one save, with my "canon" Shepard saving his entire crew.

For instance, in my main FemShep, I kill off Tali. Had her get eaten alive by the seeker swarms. Now I'm an unrepentent Tali-mancer, so letting her die was painful. But I think that this helps make the story more tense, bittersweet, and interesting.

Besides, I'm quite curious how the scenes shown at E3 will play out without Mordin, Legion, or Wrex.

Let's see... I got Tali and Mordin killed on my canon playthrough (seriously, why did I ever think having Tali lead the second fire team would be a good idea?), and I've spread everyone else's deaths out over the rest of my Shepards.

Think I've only got everyone alive on one playthrough, because I've set her up as pretty much having a Midas touch. In a little bit of background fanfic I did for her, I made her out to be drunk during her Skyllian Blitz heroics, and when interviewed after getting her medal she said "If I'd been sober, by the time reinforcements showed up all they would've seen was me sitting on top of a pile of dead guys smoking a cigarette and yelling "What took you so damn long!?"

^Love Lemmingology's quote

My favorite Shepard lost two squadmates because the characters' story arcs finished nicely with a suicide mission death - rather than because "I hate him/her with the fire of a thousand suns."

My canon didn't lose anyone.

2 playthroughs so far, working on 3rd atm

1st is male Renegade with a few Paragon decisions (killed Morinth, destroyed Collector base) since it made sense for my Dirty Harry playstyle, everyone survived SM.

2nd is female full Paragon (although it took a real effort not to go Renegade in some situations), everyone survived SM.

These are my 2 canon playthroughs, so for the 3rd I'm currently working on, I'm gonna pick new character option (Wrex dead) and make a Renegade misanthropic xenophopic **** and only save certain humans. So all aliens :alien: die, as do Jacob (too goodie 2 shoes:innocent:) and Jack (whiny and unpredictable:crying:). Zaeed and Miranda will follow my order to the letter :police: and Kasumi can be of use in stealth operations:ph34r:. But mostly none of the survivors have a problem with morally gray.

I'm probably gonna change one of mine... I've built him as a ruthless, racist b****** who sees aliens as animals and wants him and Miranda to be king and queen of the galaxy (she's got no idea, bless her), but I've still got Wrex alive, still took Grunt out of the pod, and didn't betray Tali. Definitely need to redo that one I think...

All will survive my canonshep playthrough.

I might do a failshep playthrough though where the minimum survive, just to see how it shakes out.

Zaeed must die! If I didn't want to have perfect play-throughs he would have died every time.

If my squadmates are loyal to me, they are alive. They're all alive, the way it should be.

He dies on my main play throughs. Not because I hate him, but my  Shepard just has no place for a guy like him.

I have never intentionally aimed to kill certain people (though I don't fret over Jack too much), but I've done what I call "dirty" paragon and renegade playthroughs. I let myself use interrupts, but no charm options, and I try to make a few mistakes. On my paragon that killed 2 people, on my renegade that killed 4, wasn't quite as tragic as I'd hoped.

My canon Shepards keep everyone alive, be they renegade or paragon. This thread has me thinking about creating another though where I specifically set out for certain results.

Killing some people to see the effects might be ok. But doing it in canon play through? Thats just plane stupid!

I don't want to miss any sidequests or convos. Sooo, I try to keep as much people alive as possible, even NPC's. :3

Jack and Thane are dead in my canon playthrough, because that is how my game turned out, not because I intentionaly chose them. Not really a problem anyway, I keep only the best squadmates, thats why I never DL'ed Zaeed.

Killed off Jack, Thane, Zaeed, and Jacob in my canon playthrough. The first three because they didn't seem too have much importance past their loyalty mission. Jacob because... well, he volunteered.
