Well, ME3 will assume that these events happened regardless, but most likely the default choice will be paragon, so if you have several different playthroughs/choices, I would recommend the 360.

default choice... you mean like how default Shep for PC/360 killed the rachni, wrex, council.... yup them sure sound like paragon choices to me :wizard:

As for the DLC, the only one we have any idea of is that apparently Arrival happened WITH Shepard... the rest most likely didn't.

Overlord TIM probably sent some other team to deal with it... either David managed to upload to satellite but then satellite destroyed, along with the base on Aite or base was just nuked from orbit... only way to be sure.
LotSB, TIM probably sent Liara the message after Shep didn't, Liara got message went to see her contact after escaping Vasir's initial attack, contact probably survived because Vasir wouldn't have probably found out where the meet was taking place. The question then only remains is how Liara got onto the SB ship but she probably took SB on solo.
Kasumi and Zaeed, probably just be news chatter about them...
Firewalker, probably just get a news bulletin mentioning how that group disappeared.

As for the OP question, I'd probably lean to the one where I did the DLC if only just to see what comes of it if you DO do it.

I'd say go for the system with the most complete experience. If all your DLC is on the 360, I'd probably stay with that. Unless you prefer gaming on the PC, at which point I'd bite the bullet and go for the PC instead.

Default choices are always renegade. Wrex died. Rachni died. Council died. Udina is councilor. And there were absolutely no sidemissions completed which means Shepard never met Conrad Verner, never helped Parasini, and Captain Kirrahee and his men are dead.

Starting the game from default and hoping to be the good guy will be tough;)

Or just *acquire* the DLC on the PC via other means. You've already paid for it, after all.

It depends on your playstyle. If you prefer controllers, get it on Xbox, if not, PC. However, I imagine DLC will have an impact, as it did have a (minor) impact on ME2.

I have ME 1+ 2 on xbox and had ME2 on PC for a while, It looked stunning on the PC
with faraway landscapes and detail that was absent in the xbox version.
Unfortunately it crashed all the time so I ended up selling it, (the PC version)
Isn't it posible using something like Gibbed's ME2 editor to change some of
these outcomes?
Or was that just for importing from ME1 to ME2?
Never used it myself, I do really miss the tweaks I made to my coalesced file though. Posted Image

I prefer my controller. It feels more actionay. If you have all the DLC for the xbox why would you change to PC? For better graphics?

ME3 will assume you played the Arrival regardless, that's a given considering Shepard's on trial.  There are no choices in Arrival so the outcome - death of the batarians - is a given.

LotSB will be a given, too.  Feron maybe will run the base while Liara is out running missions, but she'll probably still be the SB and have access to the base/info/brokers.

Overlord is ilrelevant.  I doubt it'll have much if any impact on ME3.  Maybe Cerebus will have some geth tech based on it or even geth-like bots, but not a huge thing.

Hammerhead dlc was a demo for the vehicle and will have no impact on anything ever.  The throbing globe you can get is nothing more then a bauble.

Kasumi - if she's even in ME3 which is doubtful, the game will automatically assume you two know each other.  Just like it assume you know Garrus' and he's your best bud even if you don't recruit him in ME1.

Go with the PC versions. The controls are so much better. You got pinpoint accuracy and it's easier to use all your powers. Not to mention superior graphics.

I usually like my shooters on PC, but with ME, I prefer the 360. If you have the DLC for 360 already, I would stick with 360.

Stick with the 360 if you already have your DLC on that. I've personally tried Mass Effect on both platforms and I think it's the kind of game that's better off played on a console, but that's just my opinion. It does look visually sharper on PC, though.

I have ME2 on both but I prefer the 360 for the story and the PC for the screenshots/mods.

We won't know it until the game is released. But seeing as all your weapons will be imported into ME3, I guess you should buy the game to the platform where you have the most content for.

But anyhow to the OP use the system with the most content on it.
