Are there going to be any "mission complete" screens in ME3?

I'm not attached to the mission complete screens, but I did appreciate 2 things they gave me:

1. I liked the breakdown summary of what I collected/earned for the mission and TIMs follow up notes. However, it doesn't have to come in the form of a mission complete screen and, preferrably, my private terminal would have a list of all previous missions with this information so I can review it all later, if I choose to.

2. I also liked that it took me back to the Normandy when I was done, so that my gameplay time wasn't padded with even more boring backtracking. However, I don't see why they can't just drop me back in the Normandy after the cutscene that ends the mission.

I don't want to be forced to run through old areas that have no new gameplay or story; I might do that because I choose to, but forcing me to is just bad design to pad my play time.

You know you've got a great game when people looking for something to complain about have to resort to mission complete screens. Must be reaching the bottom of the barrel in stuff to whine about.

You aren't forced to see them for more than half a second if you don't want to. How is it any more immersion breaking than a loading screen? At least with the mission complete screen you get a few after mission thoughts from the Illusive Man to read.

they ruined immersion for me, i hope they are removed completely !!!

Yes because cutting to a loading screen instead of still being in the world completely ruins the immersion of the game world

I can't tell if you're trying to be sarcastic or not.... Because what you're saying is the absolute truth, the loading screens completely destroy the immersion, especailly when you're automatically teleported back to the Normandy.
But your TONE is shouting "Look at me, I'm being sarcastic".

Confusing post is confusing.

Your ignorance to how it affects something that is supposed to be "more cinematic" than the first game is noted.

Is this supposed to be Shepard's story or TIM's?  Why am I getting TIM's input on events and Shepard's nowhere to be seen or react?

As was stated earlier, the mission complete screens (or more to the point, what they contain) could have been handled better in a variety of ways.  They are unneeded as they exist if this is indeed Shepard's story and if they are needed at all.

I don't think this thread is whining, it's about giving an opinon on the mission complete screens.  I love ME and ME2 but I would have preferred to not have the screens, so what's your problem?  btw they are different from loading screens because they are unnecessary.  Loading is necessary, even if it could be implemented better.

Maybe if they did the loading screen first, then the mission complete screen came up. You would already be back on the Normandy at your private terminal.

I don't see the huge problems with the elevators. I mean what you have to ride them once? during the whole game then you just use the Rapid Transt to get to places. The only elevator you "have" to constantly ride was the C-sec to Ship elevator and normally that didn't last that long. (If it lasted longer than say 30 seconds upgrade your processor man you have to be running min specs for the game then. and yes I was running min specs the first time playing the game upgraded to dual core no real issues with ME1, had long load times for ME2, until i got a quad core then Loadscreens where never up long enough to matter)

I never felt mission complete screen irritant, it was nice review of things I had accomplished and it showed me how much credits and resources especially eezo I got.
