Why not go ask in your local gamestore?
I did and they were like 'yeah, ask us again in a few months or so, it will probably get delayed again.' And I was like 'no, march 6th, they said it!' And they were like 'yeah, sure, see you again in winter or something'.

Hmmm that's poor attitude from a salesman lol

I also pre-order at my local, and favorite game store, and thats about the same answer i got. I am getting anxious, i see it out for pre-order on amazon and such. I have barely pre-ordered any games, so i have no idea how many months before they let you pre-order the collector's edition of a game.

Normally, there isn't so much of a set date, as a finite number of copies being made of the various special editions. My local Gamestop allowed pre-orders of Duke Nukem right up to the day before release. Thank (insert choice of invisible sky wizard here) I didn't take them up on it.
Exception was DA2 where everyone ordering before a cutoff date got upgraded to Signature Edition... In theory, anyway, as a combination of EA and several retialers did in fact manage to stuff that up.

They have the Collectors editions available for pre-order right now. You don't even have to pay right now (in fact they don't let you). Even if you pre-order off them and then later on change to a local distributor if they have it.

I tried game.co.uk, but at the final purchase screen I can only choose from two delivery options withing the UK.
Amazon only offers the pre-order with super fast shipping, almost doubling the cost of the game.
And well, the digital collector's edition is a safe option (and fast, since I can download and play it as soon ME3 is out), but I kinda want that N7-patch and metal box.
Now that Europe is awake, someone else has the überbest option?

And I don't have any problems with pre-order options from game. I can choose just the normal 2,95 pound EU shipping option.

I pre-ordered from game.co.uk and amazon and will wait if one of those two option will reach an acceptable price near release, if not I'll cancel both.

Thanks, then that might be the best option. And I'll check out if I can get it from a local store so I can play it as soon it's out on march 6th. Waiting is hard now, but imagine the game is already out and you still have to wait for it

I pre-ordered from amazon germany since it's a bit less expensive than game.co.uk and I live in germany. But i sure hope english voice will be available on the DVDs or at least for download or else I will HAVE to buy it in England. Usually it's less expensive in england, but EA sure knows how to kill the mood.

Are you sure? I ordered from amazon.de with the normal shipping option, it would be strange it they didn't deliver to the Netherlends.

I assume I can cancel an Origin pre-order anytime until release, right?
If so, I think I'll just pre-order of Origin and cancel it in case a deal from one of my regular stores (bol.com/mediamarkt/steam) becomes available.

When I tried last night it was 4 AM, so I might not see everything right.. Still, normal shipping will last at least a week and I want to play it on the day of the release.

Nah. It took amazon.co.uk 3 or 4 days to deliver DA II to Hungary. They should be able to get it to you in 3 days as well since you live a lot closer...

I just pre-ordered from EA store. I get everything, but I guess no box of the game, but hell knows how they will send me the stuff that's supposed to come with the box. Maybe I get both digital and box... I really have no clue there
You're not getting physical items, so the artbook is a pdf, and no N7 fabric patch for you.

True, but I get them digitally instead, which is good enough for me.

Here's a secret: almost all European Amazon shippings are from a big warehouse in Germany. But the 3 or 4 days delivery is still mucho expensive.
