Does ME has prejudice/sterotypes against LGBTS?

I just started playing ME2 and I realized that your personal assistant is available as a romance option to both genders. I am not going to start another debate of characters suddenly turning LGBT (aka Anders in DA) but I can't help but notice that there is subtle sterotyping there...
Not that I want my male Shepard to suddenly turn gay in ME3 but to only allow strong, powerful, (leadership quality) woman to be lesbian while the man (with the same qualities) is unlikely to be gay are sterotypes.
there are powerful men who are gays while powerful women who still prefer a man as their partner. So I do not understand the inclusion of your personal assistant as a potential love interest.
It is ok with Asari as they practically mate with anything that moves and are known to be very seductive. But for a real human, I think is should not be included at all for both sexes.

I have never seen another game that even allows the characters to have same-sex relationships, and ME3 is going to have Male-Male relationship(s). They're probably the last people you should be accusing of stereotyping.

Bully, The Sims, Fable, Persona 4, BioWare games - Jade Empire, KOTOR, Dragon Age + gay references/characters/flirts in Fallout franchise, Troika games etc.Son of Illusive Man wrote...
I don't see your point here. Two examples is not a rule, and even the examples you gave really have to be stretched to find anything close to discrimination.

FemShep can be strong, powerful and interested in a man too. That's just who Shepard is, regardless of gender. And neither of the female S/S options are particularly 'butch', so I don't understand your statement that they're stereotyping. Not having M/M options isn't really 'stereotyping' either, it's just being non-inclusive, which they're supposedly changing in ME3 anyway.
I know it's not much, but you could interpret one of the LotSB video feeds as Gavorn having an encounter with a human male. Gavorn is a bit character, but from what we've seen he's not overly camp or anything, so I wouldn't consider him a stereotype at all.

None of which I have played, aside from the SIMS, which is another EA property, if I am correct.

Although her romance was mostly cut because Lucas decided to be classic Lucas and ruined things.

Who was the same-sex relationship in Persona 4? I don't recall it.

Or is the issue that Kelly is powerful and that there's no comparable m/m romance? A hard point to make since there aren't any m/m romances at all, you'd really need to have at least one m/m romance in-game that falls into whatever the stereotype is before you could say they're stereotyping homosexual characters.
And yeah this belongs in the Characters and Romances forum.

But having a free spirited counselor on board that believes that love is bigger than race, species and gender. Well that's just pandering!!!
