Why wouldn't geth dive and roll? Being killed tends to hinder your ability to fight and win battles.
Well, they add something cool to the game like omniblade and rolling and then they make every enemy have it as well. Overusing something like that has a funny habit of turning something cool into something dumb.

the excessive rolling was weird but the game doesn't come out for a long time so I still can't wait......
Yeah the rolling was my biggest worry. Im pleased it hasnt become a method of transit from what we have seen. Running still is far more effective. However the frequency of use and nimbleness for every enemy, dispite clear heavy armour on a few of them was a bit disconcerting. However as said, a long time to release so im sure these issues will be ironed out.
You must have never seen Spetsnaz training in all there gear.

no healthbars
is this going to be a feature of ME3. because i hate seeing floating health bar.
the rolling did seem a little pointless for the enemies. i mean i could see it beeing effective if it actually wasnt pointless. its a slow roll, the enemy pauses after they stand, and they only roll about 3 feet to the side. id never use that manuver unless i wante to die, and they were all doing it. it actually looked easier to kill someone after they used the roll.

Before you guys get all excited, Bioware have said nothing in that clip is finalized. It's a b-roll, meaning it was never intended to be straight dumped to the interwebs like that, as though it's some sort of proper demo. It's intended to be used as that generic footage you see that cuts in and out for a few seconds at a time while people are talking during interviews and such. Just keep in mind that everything you see there can and probably will change. The omni-fist, the pistol whipping, grenades with no cooldowns, Cerberus geth, geth with omni-blades, etc.
And yet at this stage, it looks good : )

Did anyone else notice the varren at around :30 leaping and taking out an npc enemy? Shepard fires his gun but I got the impression he was shooting at the npc not the varren. Appears other npcs are shooting at the varren, not squadies. I know we're getting a robo dog with the collector addition but maybe possibly a varren to use in combat?!
There were situations like this ME2 though. Two opposing forces fighting eachother and you kill them both. Nothing new about it. It's just a varren instead of a rival merc group.

It looks very fluid and smooth.
If they just add a bit more RPG elements to it, moreso then ME2 I hope, It'll be my GOTD
