Is there any word Bioware if any store in the UK that's not associated with GAME will be selling the CE?
There price on the website is ridiculous £69.99
Mass Effect 3 Collectors Edition.

They're charging a lot more for the CE this time around, you probably won't find it much cheaper anywhere else

Yeah, $200 or more NZD apparently for it...It's $170 AUD.

It is not out in South Africa. Mass Effect 2 CE was out here, so I do not see why it is not now. I have contacted my online suppliers, and they are still waiting for confirmation. Where can I order this? If I order off amazon, with South African taxes, I will pay around $200 (American) to get it here.

Bollocks to that then. If i can pre-order the plain version for $88, the extra content isnt worth another $80.

Seriously!?!? Dam, the only thing i really want from the collectors edition is the new squaddie (which will feel like to me that im missing out on part of the game if i don't get) and the weapons. Wish they would release a smaller version of the collectors edition that didn't come with the art book, N7 case etc. I hope this squaddie is like sebastian where he will be avaliable on day one with DLC for people who didn't pre order it.SilentNukee wrote...

My post doesn't appear to have gone though...
The Prothean team member is supposedly a mistake on the image they sent to retailers - it will either pay a pay-to-play day one DLC, included in all new copies or just part of the game... if Evil Chris is to believed about it being a mistake I mean.
I hope so!

Heh, yeah. A mistake, just like the early announcement of a DA2 demo was a "mistake."

If it does turn out that there is a CE only Prothean team member I don't think I'll buy anymore BioWare games, as much as I love them - I realise nobody cares, it's just a personal assertion. Missions? Don't care. Weapons? Nice, but meh, I can live without. But this... would just Hulk me right out. The prices being charged almost everywhere are extortionate for what you actually get, and whilst BioWare is right in saying that they don't set the prices, they, or rather EA, still seem to have made it retailer exclusive in many places thus allowing one chain to set whatever price they like,
The character is the ONLY thing I care about in the entire CE (if it is CE only.)
I'll wait and see!

Yeah, we haven't announced ME3 CE officially yet, so you can't pre-order yet, but it's in our systems at work. (EB Games) and it's $169.99 (If I recall correctly)...But my manager said that it was in AUD, so we can expect it to be over $200 NZ.
