Just you wait until Kaidan is rebuilt by Cerberus and sent to kill Shepard.
Or turned into a super-husk and sent to kill Shepard.

Hackett: He's more machine now than man twisted and evil.

It's possible that the Reapers could have found the ashes of that person and reconstituted them into some sort of slave or underlying for the Reapers.

Then again, it was a nuclear explosion...

You know it's not even in the realm of possibility when THIS fellow thinks it's unlikely.

You lose contact with whoever is at the AA tower before you yourself get off the planet. Before Saren even attacks you, if memory serves. It's possible the geth took them captive.

... of course, were that the case, they'd probably be dead on Sovereign when its destroyed all the same. I doubt the game distinguishes between an AA Tower/Bomb Site rescue.

No, I think it would be really terrible and it would undermine the significance of the choice you made.

Besides it would make Virmire go from a "Wham Episode" to a "But for me it was Tuesday"
Which is not cool.

This is the 2nd most stupidest plot twist for ME3 I heard on BSN!

You've been to Clan Zorah's moronic posts thread.
So you MUST have seen ideas more idiotic than this.

since the reapers are capable of almost anything, it would be really emotional to see them come back as an indoctrinated enemy.

I would rather they stay dead and Virmired.
Let them sleep peacefully.

Just a thought. With some of the talk of bringing back characters who died over the last 2 games from the dead. You think it would be interesting if the VS who didn't survive would come back from the dead?

No.

That character was vaporized in a nuclear explosion so there is nothing to bring back. It would also completely invalidate that choice you made on Virmire as in the end, it wouldn't really have any consequences. And it makes for poor storytelling. If the story were all sunshine and rainbows it wouldn't be as emotionally engaging.  Thankfully Bioware realizes that and confirmed long ago (right after ME1) that the squad mate left behind on Virmire is permanently dead.

Hopefully Bioware also presents us with hard choices in ME3 like the one we had on Virmire, with deadly and unavoidable consequences for some members of our squad.

Hate to say it... but somehow Shep came back from vacuum exposure and crash landing on a planet from orbit... Unless EA/Bioware sent whoever came up with that one to Siberia, anything's possible.

It doesn't matter that the VS was right next to the nuke so his/her body is probably incenerated, medigel fixes everything.:D

No. What's dead, should stay dead. We've had enough Resident Evil games.

I like to assume because I sent him with kirrahe I gave him a fighting chance. Guessing VS who you didn't pick stays dead.

But guys! What about that guy who survived both nuclear bombs dropped in WWII? Surely the squadmate on Virmire could do better!

Oh what's that? The squad mate was leaning on the bomb? Well then no.

whoever was within 5 miles of that nuke is dead for sure and that's the all she/he wrote.

'note' the explosion could be seen from orbit so five miles is probably understating it. B)

Maybe come back in a dream or something. Honestly Kaiden coming back from nuke explosion sounds very very very very very unlikely.
