Is it even possible for Shep to have kids with another human, when s/he is post-dead, previously turned into pulp from all that being-dead-in-space stuff, and now part cyber-person?

1. Adoption. It doesn't even have to be the same species as you or your LI.

2. Artificial insemination. It won't have the DNA of the parent not having the child, but it is a way to have a child with the actual birth process.

3. Test tube baby. Same way Miranda was born, in this way it will only have the DNA of the parent.

In reality though I doubt children will be mentioned at all, and if it is it will be a hint at the end of the game. Bioware writers have already explained their distaste of children in the romantic sense.

The Grey Warden in DA:O can have a child with Morrigan.

And in DA2, an elf and human had a child together.    This isn't DA.

This is what I've been thinking, too. Of course, that would leave Liara as the only option, wouldn't it, with her mindsecks? Ah, Bioware, forcing Liara on us again and again...  (I joke)

Seems to be the kindest and most likely way of having a child in ME3. I want to adopt a little Krogan and name him Wrex Grunt!

Pretty much this, if you want to have a kid with Tali/Thane/Garrus, adopt. ME does not need disgusting baby hybirds that look like mutants.

I think even my Liaramancing Shep shall adopt for these reasons.

Kids should be left to fanfiction and head canon. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them, but not every Shepard is going to want them. Same with weddings- and this is from a person who adores both kids AND weddings. But it's just not needed for ME3.

Humans are 95% similar to chimpanzees, DNA-wise. Humans cannot reproduce with chimpanzees. My case is made.

They also won't mention Shepard's possible offspring most likely. Not really something that they'll really concern themselves with.

As has been said, adoption is where it's at. After the Reapers, I'm sure quite a few children will be orphans.

I already explained how you can have kids with alien LI without cross breeding or adoption. Tali your LI? She wants a Quarian kid for the fleet? Artificial insemination.

I think it would add a great, personal "happily everafter" notion to the (otherwise very epic, I'm sure, but not so personal) ending.

But I'm sure your LI will agree if you don't want it. They have business elsewhere anyway.

But really, interspecies intercourse (if it's possible), will not produce offsprings. It just can't biologically. You could perhaps pull a Miranda off infusing it with both the parents' DNA...But who would do such a thing? :S Thane's wife is a Drell. There are no halflings in the ME universe. Adoption is best, in that case.

Another reason why I stick with my blueberry...My Shep can "father" her children.
