So, I know both that there are import bugs from ME1 to ME2 (such as saving all the hostages in the Sirta Foundation paragon mission, and conrad verner)

My question is, is there any statement what bioware's approach will be to these bugs. I know I can fix them with a save editor, but is that possibly going to cause future problems in ME3?

They're fixing the Conrad bug in ME3, based on the choices you made in ME2.

I was kind of pissed that they didn't patch the import bugs. I'm not really surprised though since Mass Effect came onto the scene when the 360 was still relatively new. I don't really see how losing one facility would ruin Sirta Foundation. Those guys straight invented Medi-Gel. They should just change it so that by default, you saved all of the scientists. The whole Conrad Vernor thing turned out all right in ME2, so that doesn't bother me all that much.

I'm guessing they won't make the sirta one too significant in ME3 since it was bugged, but it is irritating. None of them are game breaking, but it would be nice if when importing ME2 to ME3 they just let us pick what actually happened in ME1.

None of the import bugs were overly crucial, hell most of said bugs straight up weren't included in the PS3 version. This tells me one of two things:

The decisions that you can make in the Dark Horse comic have a significant impact on ME3 and the others will be there as a "Hey cool!" moment for those who imported all the way from ME1. My money is on this one, by the way.

OR

The ones you can choose in the PS3 comic are the only ones that'll transfer into ME3.

Has anyone else seen a problem with the Shadow Broker DLC not importing? I haven't been able to find any references to other people having this problem on google. I've completed it, but my Shepard in ME3 was surprised to learn Liara was the shadow broker. I wonder if it's because we had deleted all the old DLC's off our xbox as we're running out of room.

Conrad IS fixed in Me3 via very creative dialogue...Sirta is not mentioned as far as I can tell so

I do not think it can transfer if you no longer have the dlc...
