Shattered Lands, is based in Forgotten Realms, and is a server where most play styles are welcome. The server is meant for fun and relaxation with guidelines, rather than rules. It has been designed around a role-playing or acting concept, but "power-gamers" are welcome, so long as they are respectful to the community, and are even encouraged to participate; as long as they bring something to the metaphorically placed table. 

The setting takes place in Faerun, along the High Ice glacier, which for unknown reasons to the random traveler, has had a path cut through the ice, where rumors of vast gold, artifacts, and even tales of ancient ruins of Netheril await. It is said that the land beyond the ice, is known as the "Shattered Lands", and has had native residents for a much, much, longer a time, than the path has been opened to Greater Faerun. A path that is rumored to only have been accessible for some estimated five hundred years. These estimates come from the Sheragrad nomads, who have only discovered this peculiar region in the last one hundred years. 

The Gether Caravans have taken it upon themselves to aid travelers through the Anauroch desert, to the nomadic camp, and even provide them with a small boon so as to keep them safe during their first few travels, for reasons unknown. The traveler arrives in the desert, the caravans pulling near the mines; the nomadic camp lay shortly off to the West. Their destiny lay in their own hands.

Recently decided to try Scars of Time, and so far I'm loving it.

The staff and players there a super friendly, and for a new-ish PW they already have a good playerbase going. The building is amazing and scripts are good.

I recommend it for anyone. d^-^b

Hey, hey,

I thought I would update this post as it's been awhile! If anyone is interested, we have a server for NwN1 called Shattered Lands - Scars of Time as SuperFly_2000 kindly pointed out. We have a small playerbase, but are welcoming more players and would love to let the place grow.

Shattered Lands is a roleplay based persistent world, but has many diverse and unique dungeons and welcomes hack n' slash too if that is the preference.

It was probably poking your eyes out.

Near the top of the page there is a server status "thingie/box"....you can see the IP in that box....


I agree however it kinda looks like a commercial box a little bit and there is no describing text above or beside it to it distinguishing it from the commercial just under it....

Spoke with Gears yesterday. He told me there was a problem with the server, and due to RL issues it may be several weeks before it comes back online. We'll just have to wait and see.

IP may be changing soon. At the moment, I'm working with my internet connect, which works, but can be unreliable every blue moon. Though working on getting a reliable host. Have someone lined up, so will keep people in the know. Glad to see folks are interested still!

I'll try and pop on and talk/play with folks as I see them on or vice versa, feel free to join in while I'm about. ^.^
