DA:O dlc are all handled inside the game. So you have to link your game to the account you have the dlc on. Look for the option to set your online account to your Bioware account email and password. Once it is set you should be able to let the game look around and dl/install the game. You may have to wait a bit or even get it to manually connect but the game does it on it's own, you don't dl or install with DA:O.

mcsupersport -what are you talking about? On the registered content page it displays a link that says "Download (stand-alone)-PC". If you click this link it downloads an executable file. If you run the executable file, it installs the DLC. Tthe updater checks a logged-on user's profile the next time they start the game to "authorize" the new DLC.

Kw4s3k- You might try referring to this link:

http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613

In particular, check out section 3.1.3.1.  When I had problems, it was because daorigins.exe (the kickoff program) was not running as administrator.  Also, make sure your dragon age updater service is a) running and B) running as administrator.  And  ensure that your firewall is not blocking the updater in any way.  Maybe this will work for you, too.  Good luck.

Sorry, you wrote as if seeming to be very unhappy, but you didn't seem to know where you were, nor to whom you were writing, although the forum description seems very clear when I read it. The is a self-help forum, written by game players to other game players. There is nothing official here.  No one in the thread has received any official response (and it's unlikely they will).

Game players who identify their problems as being of technical nature come here to ask for suggestions from other game players. For a year and a half, no one from Bioware responded in the place, although we had second-hand assurances along the way that company personnel remained "aware" of activity here, that seemed to have been an extremely exaggerated statement.

Very recently, certain very limited subjects have been of interest to Bioware; if you see a pale blue logo under a message subject line, someone from the company did answer that message. Therefore, if you tell ME that *my* "methodology is crap", that is totally meaningless hot air.

You want to describe the official workings of the site critically, you need to visit EA, which is where the official support is taken care of.

Gorath Alpha-

1. Sorry to have offended you. After making my original post I realized that I was guilty of the same offense made by mcsupersport, that being, as you put it, blowing "meaningless hot air". I apologize and have edited my post so that it is, hopefully, more helpful.

2. You are a wanker.

I have my own reasons for not buying any recent expansion or DLC items. Normally, I only suggest using Hemis H's sticky as a reference if I answer such questions at all. This time, Nutcracker started off doing the same as you had done, addressing this forum as if it really was regularly responded to by any Bioware people, and in the comment initially used a belligerent tone that I thought of as inappropriate.

I regret that my avoidance of all Bioware DLC means I am of no great help to you here, when so few of our members are available. My only comment in your thread until now was a response to what Nutcracker started off saying (and has since been changed).

Stone Prisoner, RtO and Warden's Keep do not have stand alone versions available for download. They must be downloaded and installed in-game.
