I think it was very believable, so well written it almost seemed planned. And if any wants to question Tali's loyalty to the migrant fleet over Shepard or vice versa needs to remember a couple of incidents. The first is her mission on Heastrom as the mission ends she resents the admiralty board sending them into geth space to retrieve the data and goes with Shepard. I don't state this to say Tali would abandon the fleet but that if given a good enough reason she'd pursue her own interest if important enough to her.
The other is that she was willing to be exiled to save her father's name, isn't that an example of love overcoming loyalty ? Now I'm not saying she'd 100% abandon the fleet for Shepard, I'm not saying that at all. What I am saying is when the time comes I imagine Shepard would go back with her or meet her at a later date. If she's made into an Admiral then I imagine Shepard would simply dock his ship in her port hangar when he comes to see her. And store it there until he gets another mission.
Children ? I imagine if technology exists in this era to create miranda then it could help them with their little problem as well.
Tali Relationship-Is it believable or was it a shout out to Talimancers?
