Although we'll probably never find out what happens afterwards if Shepard and squad die, what do you think the Council, Alliance and everyone do during the Mass Effect 3 timeline, when the Reapers invade. Do they die or does Joker become some uber-hero ? (I say that because of the determined look on his face at the end)

If Garrus is still alive I think they might have a shot. Garrus is basically a Turian Shepard with charisma.

Nobody can accomplish anything without Shepard's help.
Shepard is the only person in the galaxy that can do anything right. ANYTHING!

Joker gets an exo-skeleton and finishes the fight. 

Liara and the VS are still alive at minimum, so he could try contacting them.
