What about those "re-spawning ones" where you have to destroy the source. Not necessarily the Human Reaper Larva spawning the Collector drones and Harby (in effect) in ME2, but in Tali's recruit mission where we have the endless drones until you take ot the giant "geth bot" (don't know what it's called). That's not to say that more didn't come after you took it out ...

Note, I'm not saying whether I liked that or not, but wondering if there'll be something like that in the game.

An even better example would be that Reaper artifact on the one side mission that spawns husks forever until you destroy the damn thing.

I'd really like to avoid that in ME3. It just feels like a huge step backwards when it comes to level design.

I forgot about that one!

That creature that poops out the Klixen on Grunt's loyalty mission.

Harversters? Yeah, that would be cool. Apparently, we were meant to fight them in both ME1 and ME2, but they got cut out both times, which is a shame.

I just want to see the husks of all the different races. It would be cool to see Turian, Quarian and Krogan husks.

I did love the enemies in ME1 that could actually throw you around with Biotics (I think it was the Asari commando's on benezia's mission, but it might have been elsewhere as well). As long as Bioware stop you falling through walls and glitching out, I'd like to see them return.

Funny enough, there is a husk that's combined with a turian and a krogan, and it's pretty much a tank husk, with lots of armor.

And the asari husk thing is called Banshee, and it has these huge dispersal pods all over its body that spawns small husklings if you shoot them.

As for quarian husks, I don't think there are enough of them out in the open for the Reapers to catch and turn into a effective frontline weapon.

Whoa whoa, how can anyone hate Praetorians? Fighting them is the most exciting part of Mass Effect.

Not really. They're really easy to kill once you've figured out their pattern.

Well, not quite forever.  There is a finite number of husks, or at least a finite number before the spawns stop for awhile, but it's annoyingly high.

so, did the illusive man goto the Collector base and get indoctrinated with most of Cerberus. Or are there some Cerberus elements free of indoctrination. Cerberus is a small organization, less than 200 people.

I actually like that husk rush and always try to outlast both husk rushes so I can open the box uninterrupted before I blow the husk-o-matic up.
In fact I generally like husk rushes as long as there's no mixing with anything that has a ranged attack (ie: scions/collectors). From what I hear they're apparently going to be mixing husks with supressive types (i.e. ranged enemies) a lot more in ME3, which is sad for me... husks and nothing more (except abominations) are fun to fight.

The part in Tali's recruitment with the Geth Prime and the drone rush... the drones do end. In fact aside from using Charge outlasting the drones is the only way I know to get through that on Insanity so far. If they lasted forever I'd've never beaten that... at least for a few hours.

Well, it certainly feels like they last forever. If that's avoidable in ME3, then I don't want it.

They're exciting initially, but quickly become a matter of tedious wear-down and repetition once you work out how they work. On Insanity they're exciting solely because they can kill you REALLY FAST if you mess up, but exciting doesn't equal fun in this case, because they have a ton of HP, so you just have to graaaaaaaadually kill them in a totally non-dynamic way.

Particularly lame is the whole "Oh lol now I will put my biotic barriers back up!" deal they do. Repeatedly.

If they had less HP, were more mobile, and had a wider variety of attacks, and if you could STOP the deal where they put their barriers back up by clever shooting, they could become really fun.

It's known that we'll be fighting Cerberus, Reapers, various types of Husks/zombies/abominations, and  and (most definitely) Heretic Geth in ME3. It is very likely that the various groups of mercs in ME2 will return as well. Here's a list of other types of enemies that I am eager to see in ME3:

1. Asari Commandos. Not the second-class eclipse mercenaries from ME2. More like Tela Vasir, or Benezia's Guard. Asari Commandos with biotics enough to toss Shepard around, not just tickle with a Warp that usually hits cover instead. Oh, and with proper uniforms like in ME1.

2. Salarian STGs. These are the top-notch covert operatives and technical geniuses of the galaxy. We have had the honor to fight alongside Captain Kirrahe and the great Dr Solus. How much more exhilarating would be to test ourselves against top STG agents?

3. Batarian SIUs. It is guaranteed that we'll fight even more Batarians in ME3. And who doesn't loving killing them? But we haven't seen their most elite combat units, the Special Intervention Unit as of yet. Read the Wiki entry in the link- they're like the Spartans of the Batarians. Their training has a casualty rate of 18%.

4. Geth Snipers. Like Legion, only they're not on your side. :-) Synthetic combat platforms such as the Geth are idea for sniping, given their superior stability and vision/sensors. It was a huge dissappointment for me that Geth Snipers did not make an appearance in ME2. Come on! Shine that red laser beam on me Mr. Roboto!

5. Yahg. They're like Krogans on steroids with Salarian intellects. And they massacred the delegate from the Council. You bet the Reapers would love to work with these guys! BioWare revealed the Shadow Broker's peculiar species for a reason. It will be a joy to put more rounds into these badass fat guys.

6. Turian Cabals. Have you ever met a Turian biotic (except Saren)? It's because they are uncommon, and the Turians themselves don't trust their biotics. They're organized into specialist teams called Cabals. You can bet the Turian Councilor has a group of these douchebags he will send out to mess up your plans.

7. The Illusive Man. I don't know. Something about his backstory (or at least the small part of it that I am aware of) tells me that he'll have more abilities than scheming, sipping expensive liquor, smoking expensive cigars, and frolicking with supermodels. And who better to test his abilities against, than the one and only Commander Shepard?

I would like to point out that most of this list would make an outstanding co-op and multiplayer roster. Just saying. Flame your worst.

I absolutely despise Scions, their bulging bodies, and their ridiculously over-powered shockwave attack.

That's why I love fighting them.

IT SURE WOULD! :o

Oh, yeah. I loved those one-shot-kills-from-nowhere during my ME1 Insanity run. </sarcasm>

Back OT, I want a boss fight with TIM. Put him in an Atlas and let me (and Jack, of course) send him straight to the Void. I'm fine with Renegades getting to re-recruit him, but Paragons should get to blow him the frack up.

Edit:

+1

I missed them in ME2. Plenty of Asari vanguards but no commandos. Generally more challenging enemies like Tela Vasir would also be desirable.

I feel like they need to change the difficulty for these enemies in particular. I never (and still don't) understand how Asari Commando's and STG are suppose to be tough. My shepard kills him fast and easy. They talk about commando's and how they're feared and whatnot throughout ME1 and ME2 ("have you ever faced an Asari Commando before...few humans have") well...they just weren't threatening.
Make em tougher BW!! I'm ready for a challenge!

(p.s. I agree, no more Scions. They weren't tough, just annoying as all sh*t....seriously annoying...just get rid of them.)
