(If there's already a thread on this I apologize. I ran a search and couldn't find one.)
So as everyone who beat Mass Effect on Hardcore and Insanity knows, there was a gamer picture unlocked for beating the game on it's hardest modes. One of Saren for Hadcore difficulty, and the N7 logo for Insanity. For me personally, the most dissapointing aspect of Mass Effect 2 was the lack of a simalar feature. It was incredibly satisfying to see them pop up and it was a nifty (yes I said nifty) way of announcing that you were dedicated to the game. In fact, it's still my gamer picture to this day. I would really like to see it make a return in Mass Effect 3, or one for completing all three games on insanity. Anyway, those are my thoughts on this.

I'd rather they spend their time and efforts in making ME3 great, and then fixing these forums so they work properly. Once both of those are done, then they can look at giving people their epeen.

Heh, I too still have the N7 as my gamer pic. It's been there some years now, won't likely change.

Hehe, same here, I've grown quite attached to it Was sad to see it not be there for ME2.

I think Bioware needs to get with the times and give us some avatar awards.

I had Atari logo as my gamer picture for many years, then I changed it for N7, after getting moods up to finish ME1 insanity years after release. I was surprised when there was no gamer picture for completing ME2, hope they would bring it back .

I am not sure, as it is very long time ago since I did most of the achievements for ME1 but possibly it is tied to Asari ally or romancing her.

Warms my heart to know I'm not the only one still using that pic :happy: And I probably wont change from it unless they bring out a new one for ME3.

It is easy to link a gamerpic to an achievement. I want that back ASAP.

That is from the X06 2006 picture pack series. It hasn't been available for a long time.

Oh, for...it's an 80 x 80 graphic. I really doubt resizing an ME3 logo will take resources away from game development.

if you preordered at GameStop (maybe elsewhere too) you got a content disk that had a bunch of stuff on it including (iirc) that gamer pic.

No, you are right about there being exclusive preorder pics, but as my earlier post said, this was one of two ME1 pictures that were released after the first game was demoed at E3 2006. The other picture was Commander Shephard, but neither have been available since 2006/2007 as part of X06 gamerpics on the marketplace. I was desperate for these so I got every Mass Effect 1 picture and found that these were not part of any available packs. Old exclusives.

I accidently deleted mine while doing a file transfer. Can you re-unlock them from beating Mass Effect again?

As for the actual topic, I think it would be neat if ME3 had unlockable gamer pics as well.

Just an FYI, I meant X06 on those two gamerpics, not E3 06.
