I've done some fiddling around with water, and as of yet I cannot figure out exactly how someone would make the appearence of an ocean. The water mesh can be made large, but can it be made to stretch out into the distance? Or should I use some kind of fog to cover the edge?
Could use some help here.

You can have more than one water plane if i am not mistaken.

Yes, you can have several water planes. Making them line up without seems is a whole different kettle of fish.

He means water in game via toolset not the official campaign.

I've been looking around the forum for info about the water models, and this seems as good a place as any to ask: Is the absence of water when you try custom modules in-game an actual glitch in the toolset or am I failing to do something (like lighting or reflectivity) that makes it visible in-game?

Sounds like (from reading above) its a glitch.

My understanding is that the toolset isn't exporting water planes quite right yet. Wait for the patch to see if it gets fixed.
