Just a thought I had. Would you like to see UW in ME3? Whether simialr to ME1's where you landed in the Mako and roamed around, albeit this time in the Hammerhead, or similar to Overlord's design of Aite, where it was a smaller more focused and designed area? Or not at all?

Personally, I would like a combination of the two. For example, a section larger than that of Aite, but as detailed as Aite was. This isnt to say that I dont want any N7 style missions, I would still like them too. Ideally, I would like both style of missions to be avaible.

Thought?

I would like the uncharted worlds to return but with my mako. Sense I don't think either side will be happy unless their specific vehicle is used for the UW I think we should via the used ship dealer on the citadel be able to buy both or pick the HH or Mako and then when you take said vehicle to UW mako gets 100% exploration of mountains, deep craters, and valleys the only limit is gravity for mountains and the HH gets to be in valleys and jump into grand canyon type areas and explore there 100% sense mako can't hop down cliffs like that thing can. Maybe it can leap over large canyons if it burst and jumps so the mako sees the land on the other side but can't get to it and the HH can.

Needs to be focused and (if a frequent occurence) varied. Uncharted world exploration in ME1 plainly sucked, though the Mako itself was OK.

Not in Mass Effect 3. I think all side missions should be connected to defeating the Reapers, to reflect just how big this war is. Nothing else should matter in the Galaxy during ME3's timeframe, so we shouldn't have time for exploring uncharted worlds.

I would like to see exploration return as a large element of a future installment of the franchise though, a more personal story that doesn't concern the galaxy at large would be nice.

@ Raiden, with that idea you'd be forced into driving both vehicles anyway, while your idea implies you have a choice.

Personally, I'd like vehicles to serve some purpose and have some sort of context. The sky car in LOTSB is a perfect example. It's something greater than 'I'm using this to get from point A to B.' The geth-car that Legion's driving in the ME3 demo is also a good example of what I want vehicles to be used for, even though it drives on a pre-plotted course. What I don't want to see is more landing in the middle of nowhere and using some vehicle to get me to the base I'll be fighting in. Just shuttle drop me at the site so I can do the mission and leave. However, if the mission involves me breaking into the enemy's garage so I can hijack their tank and spread chaos and destruction, that's great, because the vehicle is then a part of the action, and not just a vessel to get you to the action. That's sort of important in ME3 especially where Time= thousands of lives.

Also, I don't mean to imply exploration is bad and I don't want it, I just don't think it necessarily needs to be vehicle-based. Zaeed's loyalty mission is a good example of what I'd like to see. You're shuttle-dropped at the mission site, but there's a short hike before you get to the action, which is filled with gorgeous scenery and detail. If they did more things like that, and added in some hidden areas with powerups and pretty scenery, I think it would be more satisfying and it would reward and encourage exploration.
