Arthur thanks! Yes I also got the dog dialogue with alistair. Ialso was able to net the commanders plate ARMOR in the chest in danes refuge! Quite the feat! I only have the gloves and boots to find now. As for being a perfectionist I am exactly like you. I often reload after dialogue threads until I have selected every persuasion and intimidate option and then keep the conversation I was most satisfied with. Would you be willing to please tell me about any other situations such as, needing to keep lloyd alive in the redcliffe batttle, where, otherwise a person would never even know about such tricks necessary to get rare items? I would much rather have someone who has already collected every rare item in the game make out a short step by step process rather than bouncing around the wikia. Often times on the wikia, you never read things like how you can miss out on the diligence armor set by choosing to take far song. So it is hard for me to rely upon it as much. And yes, I did get the wardens tower shield. Have not yet reached a point in the game beyond first camp at lothering. The only 2 things I have done after lothering was wardens keep and stone prisoner. Now I want to get wynne immediately. I WISH there was a way to get logain in my party right away because I would much rather have him as my sword and shield tank over alistair. I don't really like alistair very much. But I am assuming it is impossible to get logain until nearly the end of the game right? Arthur send me a pm if you don't mind listing out the ways for me to get all the rare item sets and how to do each quest without missing important items.
